Rascal Bay

It was one of best 18 hole crazy golf in Essex we have played. Rascal Bay (Chelmsford) is new crazy golf opened door lasted years on 24 April 2021 and they have a sister crazy golf course in Rascal Bay in (Brentwood Essex).They have pre book your slot online and free ample parking also. Friendly staff, thorough enjoyed the fun course and was great value for prices. We definitely go back soon.

Fabulous American style crazy golf on outskirts of Chelmsford City centre with free parking for customers. Added special effects including a cannon fire smoke and noises. There are 2 water rafts around the course. It is very well executed, really hope people will go visit! I will definitely be returning! There is also an on site cafe for those who want to wait for the family or friends to go round the course or for a drink afterwards!

Totally fabulous. Great layout, friendly atmosphere, fair pricing. Good for all ages. It's a nice place to have a drink or ice cream after. Plenty of outside eating area. Fills like your on holiday, when your not.

Fun for all the family, in any weather, visited with my 5 and 6 year old kids and my parents. Really enjoyed the theme and surprises around the course, especially the pirate. It was simple to book, parking outside plus a small shop/seats to enjoy drinks and ice creams.

Visited twice, pirate and dinosaur theme with two rafts you have to pull a cross. Granddaughter loves it. Cafe and free parking, pitch and put next door. One toilet. Not wheelchair friendly.

Lovely to find this practically on my doorstep. Reasonably priced and filled an afternoon.

For context we're a family of 4 with 2 adults, a 16 year old, and an 11 year old. We normally go to Moby Golf, but have been trying out different places this year, just for a bit of a change.... We stumbled across Rascal Bay by accident (someone mentioned it in a Google review of another golf place) and what an absolute gem! The course was challenging (but not overly so), the decor was colourful and the raft crossings between holes were genius - so simple yet so much fun. It took us about an hour to complete and that felt like a good amount of time; not rushed, but not dragging on either. We all had a blast and will definitely be back.

Fantastic fun, reasonably priced and never too busy. High quality holes that are interesting for all ages. Close walk to city centre for post golf coffees and food.

Wow! Usually adventure golf courses are easy (boring) to keep people moving ... but this one is challenging and fun. It has varied and exciting holes, floating bridges, great scenery, friendly staff, and they sell ice creams. Go have fun!
