Shame you can't give a minus 3 rating as this is the only number that fits the Chop Suey house. It was the most bland Asian food we've ever eaten, very poor compared to other Chinese food outletsIn the area. If you like Chinese food avoid this place as it will put you off.

If you steer clear of the chicken dishes (recon chicken), it's just ok. Salt and pepper fries seem popluar. Cash only, Waiting room pretty inhospitable.

It's my favourite of the Chinese restaurants around Stroud. Some of the dishes are not exactly what you'd expect from a western Chinese restaurant but they are all the better for it as far as I'm concerned. Less standard but more tasty.

Firstly, a simple order of 4 dishes was completely wrong. Given a chicken curry instead of Singapore another rice instead of noodles. Secondly, the dishes we did receive were terrible! Very dry, bland and incredibly salty. We both felt quite ill after, not sure how much MSG they're putting in their meals but I'm positive it is A LOT!!!!!!! Would 100% NEVER RETURN. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

I definitely love the crispy duck and the fried beef with vegetables! We didn’t expect the food is good as it is sooo cheap

Wow! Delicious Chinese food. Big portions, non greasy and so good in particular the lemon chicken, special fried rice and sweet n sour sauce. Definitely will revisit. Friendly staff. Cash only.
