Browns Bath
My husband and I visited after a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. The building is gorgeous and the decorations were beautiful. Every member of staff was polite and attentive. I'm coeliac so always anxious when going somewhere new. But the accreditation you have received shows that you are very well trained and your understanding of the needs of people like myself is outstanding. Both our meals were tasty and very well thought out. We will definitely be visiting again.

Dirty tableware, really run down in parts and the worst afternoon tea I’ve ever had.Overpriced, sandwiches congealed together, puddings tasted very old and the Victoria sponge was stale.Attached photo is how much food we left.As another reviewer has mentioned the scones were nice.Complained and not gotten any email response.

Food vas good, but what makes this place is the staff. Very relaxed atmosphere, but up market at the same time. The waitress we had remembered us from our last visit, over a year ago. Cocktails are very good.

Never disappointed with Browns in Bath. Very nice staff, high food standard and classic design. Feels like bring you to the very old days. Definitely a recommendation.

Both dishes we had were excellent, good portions, quality ingredients, prepared well and very reasonably priced vs the cost for similar dishes at other places in the area.We would easily have both dishes again ( braised port belly, fish & chips..w best home made tartar sauce! ) as the photo speaks for itself!A service charge is added to your bill.

Browns, Bath: One Brown wowed us at the Browns. Thank you @helen for the superb dinner and giggles! Browns is deceptively simple on the outside but it’s a solid stately restaurant with a certain traditional pomp meets nostalgia inside. Different sections sport different styling notes. The ones near the windows are cut out for romantic shoots with light pouring in on a summer day. Food is traditionally British classics gobsmacking. Fish and chips are generous portions with the best batter. Fish pie is comfort food good. Our service by Yee Lin is out of this world. She constantly checked in on us and was attentive, genuine and sweet. When in Bath, do the Browns. It’s a heck of a gorgeous brasserie. #eatstylishtravelstylish

We just had our wedding Reception Meal at Browns.The staff at Browns have been wonderful in reassurance in the preparation,and the food was perfect. The service was so attentive. They made everything perfect and easy for such a large group.I can't thank them enough.And we will be returning for our one year anniversary.Thank you guys.

Wow, really loved the chicken skewer!! It was served with picked vegetables and a beautiful sweet sauce. I highly recommend it!! The flavours mix wonderfully!!I was hungry so added a side of onion rings and these were also wonderful. They were surprisingly light and the two dishes together hit the spot perfectly!Add the atmosphere of the church bells across the street and river to the side and you have a fabulous lunch
