Great heritage railway, with low prices, great trains, enthusiastic staff. A recommendation for enthusiasts and tourists who are interested.

Excellent railway. The stations have been superbly restored and don't miss stopping off. Great staff who make for a great day out. Make sure you start early and walk into the lovely villages of Winchcombe and especially Broadway. You can also get off at the Cheltenham racecourse station and catch the bus in to town. 10/10

Met up with family including my 5 year old Nephew to travel from Toddington to the new station at Broadway. Info on website advised that tickets were available on the day when we arrived at the station we were told we could only buy an all day rover due to it being a special event. We didn't really want to spend over £50 so decided to come back another day. Asked if we could watch the train depart from the platform and told sorry not today and couldn't even have a drink in the cafe! Managed to see train from the bridge and the station looks lovely but left disappointed and not sure we will bother again. Lunch at Broadway Tower visitor centre though was very nice!

Amazing it's a must visit there's a little cafe you can have a rest and fill-up with food and beverage so much to look at and to explore I can't explain all the things to see wouldn't want to spoil anyone's adventure just go and enjoy and take plenty of pictures

This place is so friendly, I became a working volunteer 25 years ago and still there! More volunteers are needed, do one weekend a month min like I do and you won't regret joining plus you'll be helping keep the steam heritage alive.Where else can you learn history as it was and 'play trains' as my wife puts it.

Brilliant day out. Staff brilliant. Uniforms brilliant. Trains a real step back in time. Buildings and facilities brilliant. Timetables well worked out so it's easy to spend many hours pootling up and down the line. Best bit - it's not a tourist rip-off. The food in the little cafe at Winchcombe is fresh, good quality and very reasonably priced, as were the ice creams & tea at the Toddington end. We get so used to going places like this and paying way over the odds for food and drink. This was a pleasant change. Don't take a packed lunch, use the station tea rooms! It's all very relaxed, with no signs or staff telling you not to do this or go there or touch that. You're just left to enjoy your day playing on the trains. They've got things just right. Well done to all the many people involved in keeping this facility going.BRILLIANT!!

Although the train ride was lovely I was very disappointed with the toilets for the disabled the toilet was to low, doors would not close and not very clean, it did spoil the experience for my mum.

Amazing place. The journey up to Toddington through the Cotswold countryside is very relaxing and seeing a proper working steam locomotive is awe-inspiring. The only downside is that the tickets are a bit pricey but to be honest it's worth paying if it keeps these fantastic old machines in working order.
