The restaurant was absolutely freezing no heating on which made our food go cold within minutes, we even had to eat with our coats on, my mum is 86yrs old and I had to keep her hands warm by rubbing them with mine every few minutes.I complained to the waitress and she was in full agreement about the restaurant not having heating, many others had complained. She was very nice and said she had given the feedback to her managerEven my mums cuppa of hot tea was cold after 10mins, we had to ask for another oneFor £36 this was not worth the moneyCold restaurant and cold foodDisgusting.And also the add the light in the disable toilet did not work so I had to take my mum into the ladies toilets and help her.I think I should be offered some discount voucher for such a terrible experienceI would appreciate some acknowledgment about this complaint

Loved it. Nice for a Friday tea time treat. Good quality fish, I had large and it was very large. Chips are great, not sloppy or full of grease. The sausages are quality too. In all highly recommended and visit often.

Massively over charged on one occasion. Charged £21 for one sausage and chips a single sausage and curry. Slow service, quality of food terrible.The drive through is so tight that it scratched my car. I complained to head office and I was ignored. No response, absolutely shocking. The lights on departure of the drive through have all been knocked over by other cars, vans etc. This drive through clearly has an issue. Save you're money and go somewhere else.Absolutely SHOCKING.

We recently hosted our wedding party at Papa's and are far beyond elated that we did. From initial request, no detail was too big or small. If we hadn't thought of something, Chloe and Rob suggested it and offered a solution.On the day itself, Sophie and Cameron looked after us from morning til evening, ensuring perfect running order and seamless service. They prepared the restaurant and tables as requested, setting all the details just right. On arrival, the guests were offered a comfy seat and drinks whilst waiting for us, the main couple. After settling in, we all ordered our food and drinks via table service - something requested in addition to the norm - and everyone was happy. The food was spectacularly fresh, as always, and exactly the quality and quantity we've become accustomed to from Papa's; they're not award-winning without reason! After the meal, a toasting drink was served to each guest and the mood calmed to allow for speeches, photos and cake. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and we can truly thank the whole team for their effort to make the day special. Thank you all and endless recommendations to all readers to host events with Papa's!

I was here for my son and new son-in-laws wedding celebrations on the 5th November.What can I say .... exclusive use for us for the evening, the service was just perfect and they took time to listen to what was wanted. The tables were set just as they were asked for and even stored the cake until it was put out just before we got there.The table service given was just perfect (this is not something that is normally provided).Sophie and Cameron were happy to help in any way .. happy polite and just an absolute credit to the restaurant. Your manager should be very proud of what you all achieved on the day.. this includes the staff working in the kitchen .. the food was just lovely.If anyone is looking for somewhere for a small intimate place for a wedding celebration, then I can certainly recommend this place.

Been to Papas at Bilton this evening, and the food wasn't up to its usual standard, the chips where burnt, the fish was well over cooked to the point of the fish had deteriorated inside the batter

There is a sign on entry, asking you to wait to be seated. Eventually, after shouting and pressing the bell on the bar, I phoned the restaurant to ask for service. The staff had been in the kitchen trying to keep warm because there is no heating, other than a small electric oil filled radiator.The sausage, chips and curry sauce was lovely but the chicken and mushroom pie was so hard, my wife was struggling to be able to cut it.They did replace her meal though.
