The guys replaced a damaged stainless steel pulpit navigation light plate on my Najad. They did a really nice job removing the old plate, fabricating a new plate to the same shape including bending and then welding it back on to the pulpit railing. It looks just like new. Mr Stainless on the East Coast is one of the very few companies I just can’t praise highly enough.Rarely have I been dealing with a company with so many 1st class Stainless Steel solutions and absolutely top class quality. Both Tim, Ed and of course Mark himself is absolutely amazing. Mr Stainless have done so many jobs/projects on my last two yachts over the past 12 years, the list is just too long to mention right now. The list however includes bespoke crane there easily lift a 150KG outboard engine, higher/stronger/better looking sea-rail, including side ladders, better than any “Oyster” quality, bespoke diesel tanks and the jewel in the crown - a yaw dropping good looking bespoke spray screen in quality never seen on any Oyster yacht or X-yacht.Happy to provide photos on request.

They've now got me out of the proverbial three times, two stainless jobs and one aluminium that were done to a very high standard and at short notice. Always offer good advice. Good to have someone you can trust on the end of the phone to your mind at ease.

I just had a stern gantry supplied and fitted by Mr Stainless. I knew what I wanted, and was quite particular. They listened, added a few suggestions I liked, proposed a fair price and then went away .... and absolutely nailed the brief. Delighted with the outcome, thanks Mark and team.

Having recently had a new kitchen, we needed a bespoke steel cowling extension to cover the extractor ducting. Several steel fabricators and the manufacturer of the extractor told us that this couldn't be done. In contrast, responding positively, Mr Stainless surveyed and delivered a brilliant job within a couple of weeks. The new cowling matches the extractor perfectly.

I sailed from Plymouth to Ipswich to get a stainless steel arch (to support solar panels and a wind generator) and davits, manufactured and installed, by Mr Stainless, on my Malo 39 yacht. Mark was able to give me a fixed price quote and confirmed booking slot to carry out the work. He and his team improved on my initial design ideas and installed an arch which was structurally very strong and integrated in to the existing pushpit. It looked like it was part of the original design rather than 'tacked on'. The davits were modified to blend into the shape of the stern. Mark and his team are perfectionists, innovative and very experienced. The job was finished on budget and ahead of time. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It helps to provide a steady supply of coffee and biscuits.

Probably the best you will find for bespoke Stainless and aluminium Work. Whilst not the cheapest you are getting experience and a helpful attitude to get you over problems that you didn’t know you had until it becomes too late. They also have a good sense of humour but that may be an acquired taste.I have no hesitation in recommending them for marine domestic and commercial metalworking projects.Jon RatliffSkipper Brigand

After waiting 4 months for something to happen from another stainless steel supplier, after contacting Mr stainless he e mailed plus telephoned me back immediately. So far, I am very impressed!The completion date was reached and the new Gantry for my Solar panels was completed exactly as I had requested.The Solar panels I ordered from Messrs Intellec BV who I also recommend for their good service and were delivered to Mr Stainless which were fitted well with a nice tilt feature. Holes were drilled to ease the wiring cable fitment and draw wires left ready.All in all I was extremely pleased with their work and would recommend them any time!

I have used Mr Stainless for many years and they truly are a great outfit. Their skills and enthusiasm to tackle and achieve a great result no matter the size of the job are applauded. We are very lucky to have them on our doorstep.

For the past 15 years Mr Stainless has made various complex and specific pieces for the gallery ...and everything has been done with immense care, attention to detail - on time and on budget with any problem or hassle! Cannot recommend highly enough for bespoke commissions!
