Such a treat to receive my handmade sketchbook from Celandine books. The book is beautifully crafted with a lightly textured nature inspired cover. Really perfect for all my drawing needs in pencil or pen or brush.

I’ve attended a couple of Megan’s workshops and got so much out of them. So well organised and everything there we need to complete the books. And Megan had so much patience! Looking forward to the next one.

Megan was an absolutely wonderful teacher! I approached her with a list of techniques I wanted to learn how to do and she put together a series of online lessons to teach me all those techniques. If you are looking to get started in bookbinding or ever need advice I can't recommend her enough.

I had a super day in Taunton. Megan's workshop was interesting, well prepared and sheer enjoyment. I made great books to take home. A day of discovery.

Stitched Notebooks workshop - a great day. Megan clearly knows her stuff but makes the process accessible and enjoyable. Everything was provided (good quality materials) and the pace was just right. Very good value for money too, I would definitely recommend!

I spent a lovely day doing link-stitch and long-stitch binding with Megan and a lovely group of fellow bookbinders. I had thought it might be a bit ambitious for us to do four books each over the day, but actually I found it a very relaxed day. Megan’s tuition (and the written instructions to take home) were clear and easy to follow, the materials for the books were lovely, the plain papers had a lovely feel about them and there was a good selection of coloured and patterned papers for the covers.

Megan stabilised, cleaned and restored a first edition book from 1883 for me. She did an excellent job and the repairs were appropriately sympathetic to the original. I am now able to enjoy this 139 year old book as it is robust enough to be handled and read again. Megan was most obliging and totally fair with her charging - I highly recommend her services and level of customer care.

Megan recently carried out conservation work on a rare first edition. I am very pleased with the book, especially the way in which Megan has been able to retain as much of the original cover as possible. it is wonderful to have the book back in our collection.

I went to one of Megan's bookbinding workshops at The Devon and Exeter Institution and it was brilliant! I've never done anything like it before, so learning how to make a book was a really interesting experience. Everything was well organised with tea/coffee and all the supplies, plus Megan is a great teacher. I ended up with two books to take home, which were really pretty. Also the venue is part of the charm, doing a workshop while overlooking the Cathedral green is something extra.

I’m very new to book binding, but Megan was very clear, kind and patient, not to mention generous with her knowledge, so attending one of her workshops was an invaluable experience. All equipment was provided and the materials supplied were lovely.
