ABSOLUTE RUBBISH quality, and refusal of consumers rights!I had new kitchen installed, got Woodpecker flooring from wren. Just weeks after installation the floor boards started sliding apart! Kept glueing them but even the glueing gave in. Now 1year on we have the surface chipping off as well. We had their engineer come out put down a level measure find some unevenness in the flooring; however the unevenness of the flooring was other areas of the kitchen not where the splitting started just weeks after installation! despite this fact Woodpecker refuses to provide any refund! Their flooring is extreme poor quality, it is cheap looking it is tacky and we are going to have to lift it up and get it re-done on our own cost! So don’t go near woodpecker! 100% guarantee You will be disappointed! their customer service is aggressively self defensive. Also note that all the 5star reviews here are fake as were not verified by Trustpilot! woodpecker do not take responsibility for the rubbish they sell, they are ignoring consumers right’s legislation!

Bought 7 boxes , when I bought my kitchen through Wren , I paid £280, I was 5 lengths short of the light oak Breakon , Rang woodpecker, who charged me £114 + £20 delivery, Woodpecker said they have stopped making the 5mm and now its 6mm, well I'm afraid Woodpecker you know you had me over a barrel saying you found 1 box in your warehouse. Not a happy chap

The Woodpecker floor is beautiful, a lot of choice. I went to see bigger floor samples and find out more information about the floor after receiving a very friendly phone call from Simon Pell when I ordered free samples. He and his lady colleague were very professional and helpful. I spent almost an hour there looking at floors and discussing various looks and layouts. It was actually a very enjoyable experience, and I was able to finally decide which floor I liked. Excellent service :-)

Bought through Wren but I would advise people to go elsewhere for flooring. First off they tried delivering a day earlier than what they told me on the email. When it did come the next day the driver said he wasn't allowed to take it in and left the pallet on the front drive just a bricks width away from where I wanted it under shelter as it was spitting rain. I have a ruptured tendon and can't move it myself so I had to cover it with a tarpaulin and just hope it didn't get wet or stolen.

We purchased Woodpeckers flooring product 29-BRE-009 Seashell Oak - Batch no 15363 and had it installed in December 2021. By March 2022 the floor begun to deteriorate, starting to pull and part and chip. I contacted Wren in September 2023 whom we purchased the item through who put us in touch with Woodpecker. My initial discussion with a member of the woodpecker team via phone call confirmed that the Brecon flooring was improved recently for quality as customers were having issues. A surveyor came out to advise that we laid the product incorrectly, however, failed to advise why the flooring was scratching easily and also chipping in places not where the gaps were forming from what he deemed caused by unlevel flooring even though we used sub flooring. We had to chase up the formal report a few times a month after the assessment and was told Wren had the report and they sent the report. I followed up with an email and advise reciept of the necessary reports relating to the products risk assessments, due diligence during manufacture and test reports. I want to call woodpecker out for producing flooring that will fail to be installed correctly in most properties in the UK and that they are falsley advertising a product to ne highly hard wearing and resistant to everyday use which it is not as we fiund it to chip and scratch easily with the edges of the flooring already starting to deteriorate which dosent have any thing to do with unlevelsub flooring. They have yet to even acknowledge my email which is not professional of them. They also advise at time of survey they will share the uk flooring associations details which they have not. Our concern is that not only does this affect our living circumstances with flooring that is deteriorating rapidly due to poor manufacturing processes and quality but could potentially cause ourselves or our 4 year old son to have a tripping accident where the edges are coming apart, also that other people will trust in the Woodpecker name to spend much of their hard earned money only to have faulty products - I feel obliged to raise this to future and current customers attention. Woodpecker please kindly respond to my email dates 13th November and note that I have found the flooring association details myself and will be in contact with them directly along with trading standards

Purchased through wren as part of our kitchen plan. It was a nightmare from start to finish and the problems continue. Several of the boards arrived cracked, and the product is so brittle that it's easily broken. The kitchen fitter had an absolute nightmare laying it,and it took way longer than any flooring he's ever put down.During fitting, so much of the boarding was damaged on delivery,l or during cutting, and the wastage was so high, we had to purchase additional boxes, and wren also payed for some. The final straw has come today, when the chipping started, less than a few months in. This product isn't fit for purpose. I have complained to wren because it's soul-destroying, when you've spent a fortune and months fitting, to have to potential rip it all back up and replace with a product which is for for purpose.Update * can say with certainty that I am not Happy with the resolution. Whilst I appreciate something was dropped on it, it wasn't from a great height, it wasn't even a particularly heavy object. As you can imagine, I have no faith in the product and I will now have to incur additional costs to hire someone to replace the gesture of goodwill" the company is making

Purchased through Wren Kitchens as part of a full kitchen/diner renovation a year ago. 35sq meters so quite expensive. Within 6 months the corners of some of the boards started to lift in a section of the kitchen - we assumed maybe water as it was near the sink (although that shouldn't matter as it says waterproof). A year on and corners are lifting throughout the whole kitchen/diner and they are now chipping off which just looks terrible and cheap. We daren't hoover or mop properly incase the situation gets worse. The warranty" given doesn't mean anything in this situation following a very long list of questions that were sent back when raising this with Wren. Now looking at replacing the entire floor :("

The floor fitter actually warned us about putting this flooring down because the connections were cheap and would break which is exactly what has happened. We bought the flooring through wren who have wiped their hands with us because we finances the floor and kitchen through Barclays and now the finance is in place our account is effectively closed. I've contacted woodpecker directly but weeks go by before I get a reply so I'm stuck. Such a shame because the kitchen is lovely but the floor is falling to bits. Very disappointed.

Ordered harleck feather oak. This is advertised as softwhite gray. When boxes opened, the colour was a sickly yellow. Company said it was a faulty batch and replaced it. Opened second delivery. Same sickly yellow. Company backtracked and now said it was a natural variation in the wood. Nothing like any pictures on website or their brochure or the sample boa4ds sent out. Company says that they cant guarentee a colour. So buyer beware. No solutions offered by company. Appears it is a lucky dip as to what you get extremely disappointed
