BROOKVALE CAFE
Best fish and chips in my area, though recently I've noticed the largest portion size of chips has been drifting down towards the standard size. The staff are decent folks though - they get to know what you're going to order, and sometimes remember it better than I do!

Love it. Friendly staff. Owners have been around for at least 20 years. Food is nice. Even the chicken is tasty. Which is rare for a chippy.

This place was my local chippy until one day I order a large and small kebab meat and chips. I watched the guy pic a small and big tray and add ONE scoop of chips to both. I challenged him about it and he said. It's how we do it! So from that day I have not been back to this chip shop. Why am I pay g extra money for no extra food. Bit poor really but I will never go back :(

Possibly one of the worst chip shops available. Fish isn't quality and to small. Kebabs are terrible. Pies are microwaves and twice as much as anywhere else, nobody can cook chips and they don't care about complaints... Worth do being petroleum on other places...

Been going here for years the food is always up to standard with great prices. The staff provides a great service, always polite. Would reccomend, especially with the new milkshakes they have started, they are delicious and full of flavour.

went in at 9.45 last night for portion of chips couple of pieces of chicken and some wedges. I asked for £1.50 portion of chips...they were obviously getting ready to close and hadn't got many chips left. When I got home and opened them, there was about 20 chips in my 'portion' which the girl had hid under my chicken and wedges!! sneaky trick that was - why not say we haven't got many chips left ? Couldn't be bothered to go back and complain so hopefully they will see this on here. Don't try and scam your customers, be honest! It will work better in the long run for you.

The Donner kebabs are excellent, especially when paired with the fresh nan, which is one of the best nans I've had in Birmingham! Fish chips etc are all.of good tasty and fresh quality. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Really great place. You must try the milkshakes too!

A nice little cafe with great service and good food. This place suffers from the reputation gained from previous ownership. The new owners are very friendly and have transformed the food to a much better quality. They offer hearty breakfasts and a good lunch menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing and you feel peckish.
