Simply horrible customer service! I took my watch to this store just to change the battery. A week passed and nothing happened. I called the store and they promised me a return and they didn't get back to me. Today marks 13 days since they haven't returned my watch. Every time someone says something different. Today I said that I was going to get my watch and I wanted my money back but they simply DON'T KNOW where my watch is! Unacceptable! Now I'm going to have to wait another day for the manager to come to work and TRY to resolve it. Terrible service! They sale you a service that they don’t know how to do. I don't recommend it to absolutely anyone!

I took a pair of Clark's shoes in earlier thinking I needed the sole replacing which would have been in excess of £80. Joe informed me of my options and also mentioned the sole had plenty of wear left and offered to glue the sole back into place for me and also polished the shoes to make them look more presentable. This was all done in the space of 15 minutes.Very easy and prompt service.

Joe is a fantastic person & master in his craft. Fixed my shoes twice, both times very quickly and quality is excellent. Recommend 10/10.

I had a very pleasant experience when I visited the store in Putney High Street. I was helped by Jo who could not have been more helpful and attentive. He did a relatively minor job on my watch strap which I did not want to part with as it is an old croc leather strap with sentimental value and the matter which needed attention required a small adjustment to be made. Not only was I treated well but Jo also waived the charge even though I was happy to pay because he didn't think it warranted payment. It was such a pleasant experience and of course I will use Timpsons Putney again as I have done for years. Conversely, I was getting good service at the Asda store when Matthew was there and before that when you had a guy from South Africa, who were always professional and very helpful. Before going to Putney I asked the outlet at Asda Roehampton to do the job and I was fobbed off. I was told that they would not help me and to buy some glue in the ASDA store and make the best of it on my own but they would be more than happy to sell me their most expensive watch strap for £25 and this was not as luxurious as the strap I wanted fixed! Am glad I went to Putney in the end! I have a several friends especially at the University and I have recommended your store to them because I have always told them that they will treat you honestly and fairly. Everyone so far has had a positive experience. I must say I have too except for one small blip which was sorted out by Jo in the end. Thought I would let you know anyway for what it's worth! Desperate to have my poor shoes from Thailand fixedIt’s a sentimental value pairs and not expensiveI went to a few shops and all gave me no hope not until I went into Putney branch and the gentleman very helpful and have given me positive note that it will be fixed for meI was over the moon and very happy this is it what I called service and beyond and thank you for making my day. Just got my watch tightened literally 5 minutes ago and I must say the worker, I didn’t catch his name unfortunately! But he was an absolute diamond. A lovely gentlemen, who got my watch done quickly and efficiently. Thank you again!
