Fantastic venue, great service and reasonably priced beer. The venue has been going for at least 20+ years from memory. Always a great time.

What a great venue, really helpful staff and cracking sound, what more do you need. We came down from North Norfolk Coast to see Skam and what a great night. Venue's like these need support and we will certainly be back. Thanks for a great night.

Fab venue, amazing people and always feels really safe.Worth the drive- lots of amazing and funky alcohol free options (unlike most other pubs).Basically my second home- due to the fantastic atmosphere, events and people.

The Red Lion is the pinacle of music venues in the area. The landlord Terry has been running the palace for 40+ years and so many bands have played there over the years, and been the springboard for their careers that Leo's is an incredibly important place for the music community.There's always a good selection of beers on tap and generally there's something going on. This is also the home of Herofest that has raised untold thousands of pounds for charity. Please support your local music venue!

Bar staff were lovely. Faux fighters were brilliant, I loved the layout. If I was local I would use tha pub weekly. Will definitely come back

Venue itself is OK, bar choice is very limited (swap the Gordon's out guys). Be aware there's very little seating and barely anywhere to put your drink. Tricky to get to unless you drive or cab it.

So I thought it was best not to share my views with you as the 2 star kinda speaks for itself but since the confusion over what it might mean I'll add a bit more. This was possibly the worst pub experience I've had in a long time. The place is not welcoming, the toilets are horrendous, like something from the dark ages. Speaking of dark ages it seems someone was trying to save in the electric bill because the place was very dark. Not a good range of drinks, my friend complained their drink was watered down but let's be generous and say there was a problem with the post mix. We were accosted almost immediately by a very drunk very drugged up guy who told us he was in with the local drugs supply people, and proceeded to try to solicit sex from my friend. Escaping to the front of the building only served to give us the opportunity to see more crazy druggies. One guy returning to his car to smash more gear. I only hope he wasn't driving home. Then the guy from before finds us, touches my friend inappropriately at which point we had enough and left before seeing the band we paid to see.
