Nash The Goldsmith

My wife took her watch for a new battery. Was told it was broken mad will cost £25 to fix plus the battery. She took it down the road for a new battery and it works great. Nash are a rip off. Never again will any of the family use this shameful establishment

I have been going to Nash the Gold Smiths for 30years and have always had the best service possible, friendly accommodating and always exceptional value.Christmas, birthdays and marriages always managed to get the best result for our needs.Keep up the the good work Nash glad to have your knowledge locally

I cannot understand how this business can get negative reviews. I went in today to have my wedding band resized, and it was ready by lunch time. I’ve also asked for a polishing service for my engagement ring, which has been offered free of charge. I’m really grateful for their kindness and professionalism. When I picked them up, I was seriously impressed, as they looked brand new. Having them slide in effortlessly , on my finger, feels like a dream ! Not to mention that they’ve been really affordable, and I was able to wear them straightaway. When I rang Goldsmiths in St David’s Shopping Centre, they advised at least 4 weeks waiting time, which I wasn’t willing to wait, so thanks God that Nash the Goldsmith exist locally.

Having been quoted £100's from other well-known retailers to replace the capacitor in a Citizen eco drive watch, which would take weeks to repair.I telephoned Nash and was told 'no problem'. within 1 week its sorted! Absolutely pleased as punch with the service from David (the watchmaker). Outstanding service from the local High Street and great price too!

Not open on Sunday... as advertised, and apparently checked by Google 8 weeks ago. Having walked out here from the city centre specifically (arriving at 2.30pm). Not that happy!

Amazing shop ! Would definitely recommend. Went in on Monday evening to get my engagement ring resized,by midday the next day it was ready for me to pick up. Amazing quality, service and price.

*I would have left NO stars, but the site requires a minimum of 1*I took a few items for repair, agreed the repair cost quoted by Mr Nash, handed over my items, and left with a receipt, expecting a call at the end of the week once repairs were done. Twenty minutes later I received a call to collect my items. No reason given. The lady put the phone down. When I collected them Mr Nash took my receipt from me, ripped it up, then tossed my items on the counter as he walked off. So Bizzarre, so Rude. I asked why. He said he did not like that I had taken a photo of my items on my phone before leaving them. ??? Most people have photos of their jewellery on their family photos, I did not because these are items that I do not use. Why shouldn’t I take a photo of them – they were mine.I do NOT feel any guilt for wanting a record of the items that I was leaving with the jeweller. This would avoid any confusion in the unlikely event that there was an issue, which would obviously protect the shop as well as protecting me!I will NOT be going back.*I would have left NO stars, but the site requires a minimum of 1*

This is he only place we go for any purchases of jewellery watches even repairs, Nash is such a gentleman very helpful nothing is to much trouble for him and his team that work alongside him.will always help and advise. Amazing service, but most of all how they make you feel very welcome in the shop they will always help after any purchases if you have an concerns. Thanks for such a amazing service you provide& going that extra mile for us.

The way the woman treated me whilst I was in store today trying to find my 8 yr old daughter a ring for Christmas was shocking. Telling me that you can not pay weekly as they will not hold the ring even if I paid a deposit. Then when I said I've bought from this shop this way for year for my children an myself for Christmas she then said she would take half the payment I said ok the ring cost £185 she the proceeded to tell me I could pay either £100 or £85 today that makes no sense I will never used this shop again shock attitude on the woman staff
