Poundland

I really like Poundland but when I came to return a faulty stapler with the receipt, two weeks after buying it, I got a nasty face and moan at the till and only £1.50 of the £2 refunded. I thought it was disgraceful.The situation was so petty and avoidable.

I do love a good strong pound shop. So of course I love all the great Poundlands up and down the country. I bought some clamps the other day. I seriously searched the whole town for some but of course Poundland had exactly what I needed. Good old Poundland, long may you reign.

Had a very rude sales assistant today. II wa looking at the children's party accessories, when this blonde lady who works at the store, Also looked like she was dressed as a supervisor, asked me to move to one side. I assumed she was just grabbing something quick to run back to her till.... Fair enough. But instead started showing another customer the products. Leaving me to stand and wait for a good five minutes while they went through the items together. She never once spoke to me to explain herself or apologize, but only glanced a few times while I stood with my hands full waiting to return to my shopping. Rude and unprofessional.

We like the pound shop but not the toys as they break too easily they need to make them more sturdy enough for kids to play with them but I really like the kids clothes and the ladies clothes by pep&co we have bought a few items of clothing but I am giving it 3 stars just because of the quality of the toys

This store is on the ground floor. The aisles are wide enough to walk through easily. The shelves were well stocked, selling everything from drinks, to stationary, to cosmetics, to garden ornaments.There were a few people in the store and there was enough space to walk around easily without being crowded.There is an area for queueing, and a few checkouts, to avoid really long lines waiting to pay.It was a good shop to come to.

Pretty cool, very cheap

Just been in for a few bits (Thursday 31st August 2023 approximately 17.10). It transpires that the milk I was buying had a Leak. Manager, a dark haired woman starts shouting in the shop 'Somebody is dripping stuff over the shop! I mean loudly.I said, it's the container, it's faulty. (The cashier said' We have a confession '. I said, it's not a confession, the container is faulty. Nobody is doing this on purpose.' What did you say? '' Did you call me mop'ead? ' utterly bizarre. I returned all the items back to their shelves. Rude, arrogant. Never going back there.
