We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon. The staff were lovely and we loved the garden and the general atmosphere.. We had some light lunch which was nice and there is plenty of parking over the road but be careful when crossing it. If I had one teensy critisism was sharing menu boards around the garden.. User friendly and not a waste of paper but must be a pain for the busy staff having to wander around with them. We wish we lived local as this would be our kind of local... Thank you all

Disappointing lunch menu, veryittle choice, had 2 ploughmans, had to ask for cutlery as non supplied. In all not worth it.

So pleased we found this gem! Perfect pub for casual and celebration drinks with amazing staff. My friends have since contacted them to go back and we’ll be there soon. Very refreshing to have this environment.

We had a turn up here with our bike club last Wednesday. The Bar man couldn't have been more welcoming. He took our drinks and food orders ( we all paid separately ) and the food was delivered well within 15 minutes. The sandwiches came within 10 minutes.Everything was freshly prepared, the BLT sandwich had a generous filling, and all sandwiches come with a side garnish of chips.Some of us bikers had the liver & onions , Ham egg & chips , fish & chips.Everything was really nicely presented and of generous portions. The staff were fabulous and helpful. On our departure the Bar man said thanks and please come and visit us again.BRILLIANT". We shall return to this lovely country pub. Thanks. Nev"

No food at the moment, but the beer and staff are excellent. I had never been in this pub before, and was treated like a regular. Every one was very friendly and sitting outside looking over the green lovely.
