I have had a very positive experience so far with Design Spec. Lauren is always happy to discuss any queries I have which helps the build process to move more smoothly. Design Spec are happy to create multiple designs until the customer is happy. I would recommend them highly.

Very pleased with the service from Design Spec Ltd, especially Ellie who has been a great help, always on hand to answer all my questions, making changes to plans and last minute alterations, thanks again for your friendliness and professionalism - and patience dealing with me! :) From initial surveys, early designs/plans through to organising structural engineers, getting planning permission, submitting building control drawings etc etc.. I look forward to getting the building work started in the coming months. Highly recommend!

MAKING YOU AWARE - Whilst DesignSpec (Kieron) did an good job on the first section of our renovation, although Kieron was our point of contact for the second stage of the renovation, unfortunately he was not working and we were not advised of this. They did not visit the site once between planning and engineered drawings for our loft extension this resulted in them missing the fact that we would not be able to stand upstairs in our new loft. We had no choice but to lower the ceilings on the first floor by 2ft. The drawings did not take into account we needed to stand up in the shower. We had no choice to move our young family out into rented accommodation. We are circa GBP 30k out of pocket and despite asking for compensation. DesignSpec have given us the run around and we are now having to go to their Professional Indemnity Insurers to indemnify us for their negligence.

Design Spec Ltd are fantastic. They have helped us through the design and planning of our bungalow renovation and extension and we could not be more grateful. They are quick at responding, patient and very professional. We would recommend this company to everyone going through this process!

Fabulous company to work with! We tried a different company before Design Spec but we never really clicked. After one conversation with Design Spec I knew they just “got it” and were able to turn my rambled wish list into a beautiful design. We knew the end result we wanted but had no idea how to achieve it until design spec got involved. When we had some personal issues that slowed us down, they were patient and happy to wait until we were ready to pick up the conversation again.Lauren in particular has been outstanding. She is easy to work with, listens, has made suggestions we never would have thought of, and nothing ever seems too much trouble. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Design Spec! thank you!
