Great parking lay-by. Perfect place for a picnic on the beach. A little bit of a hill getting on to the beach but not too bad they also have a snack van parked there aswell. Beautiful Views.

Great parking, views of the locks and surrounding mountains. A snack wagon is normally here. And it's a good place to paddleboard.It has small stony shore you can walk and get some good views.

We stopped there for lunch on our way to Skye. The view and the breeze was amazing. It was a partly cloudy partly sunny day and was really comfortable. Would for aure stop again if I ever find myself on that road again.

Another beautiful Scottish landscape, if you are early in the day, there is a lot of room to park your car. We noticed a breakfast service at the place. On the way back it was gone

Loch Lochy Viewpoint
An enjoyable and welcome lay-by stop. It had two mobile burger bars in place one with noisy generator permanently running which spoils the peace of the place. Care is needed entering and leaving this place because the road is fast and straight here. There are some interesting interpretative boards about the geological history of the Great Glen.
