Despite the staff being friendly, the room service being fine the noise from the gym is unbearable. I'm here now and have asked to change room but was told they were all full and only rooms on 1st and 2nd floor available which all get noise from gym. I was assured the noise stopped at 7pm, clearly not. It went on until 11pm, then the banging of weights start again at 5am.Disappointed to see that reviews from one year ago were complaining about the same thing, and also that apparently I have this to look forward to from 6am in the morning. I will definitely not stay here again, simply because of the banging music. I am surprised that the booking company we use are still booking rooms hereIt is a shame because it could be a nice hotelMy advice, don't stay here if you want a good sleep for work the following morning

The 2 girls on reception for checking in were nice and friendly, explained everything we needed to know for our stay.Room was spacious and clean however if you went looking you could see some cosmetic faults with the room.Staff in bar, Restaurant both at evening and breakfast time again nice n friendly. The one negative thing I have to say is however when the fire alarm went off about 11.00ish at night and the majority of the guests sleepily shuffled outside, there was no sign of any hotel staff to inform us what was happening, to do a guest count or even to close fire exits to stop people reentering the building before safe to do so.It may seem a petty issue to moan about considering it could have been serious but I think if you don't get the basics right during a evacuation you end up with potentially bigger issues.

I have been here twice as I visit a company on the same business park. My first visit was probably 2 stars (below average but for convenience I went back again. This time it was pants..Self-check-in does not work, I assumed that it was just the people in front of me, but alas it did not work for me either, so the one person checking us all in was a bit overwhelmed. Although she was very pleasant so that was OK.FoodEvening MealThe food, I had some chicken wings, chips and salad. The wings came in a hot basket but were cold. Even worse than that, pink in the middle, I did not notice due the dim lighting and ate half before stopping. So pink chicken placed on a hot surface, this is the definition of food poisoning, dangerous!!!). I took them back to which I got a very unconvincing sorry (Straight out of Kevin and Perry, they clearly did not care). My replacements came out within a couple of mins, which I guess means a microwaved and toss into a basket. The kitchen clearly couldn’t care less either, as this time they came out hot but with all the presentation skills of a vomit on a Friday night.Breakfast, pretty normal and to be honest I quite liked the sausages, and the bacon was not hard like you get in many hotel breakfast buffets. One thing I thought I was going to like was the coffee, a bean to cup machine, I hit the latte button to which the normal whir and whoosh happened and I eagerly had a slurp, yum there is nothing quite like a latte made with UHT long life milk, yuck! The room was clean but a bit tired. I clearly had a twin room that they pushed the beds together to make a double. So don't sleep in the middle or you will get stuck :D. Because it was a twin the bedside tables were no longer bedside. You had to stretch to reach the surface, this was made worse by the fact that there was a big curved section before you got to the flat surface. God help you if you like a water next to your bed as by the morning, I had dropped my phone on the floor when looking at the time in the night.I have given this place a bad review, but I am assuming that you might be going here because of the gym/swim facilities. Unfortunately, I have not tried them but damn, I hope they are good as everything else is pish.

Leisure review.I have been a gym member now for 8 years.Plenty classes to suit all levels of fitness and interests.Staff friendly and helpful.I received a free PT session from a friend.Took it with Chloe.Excellent workout.I highly recommend it.I suffer from high anxiety. Not all instructors/ PTs can motivate me.Chloe put me to ease. Very knowledgeable.Chloe has the ability to motivate and inspire me.Appreciate and thank you, chloe.

Our room was clean and comfortable we were pleased to find we had a free upgrade when we arrived the swimming pool was an added bonus. Breakfast was a little chaotic with coach parties having their breakfasts at the same time as other guests and not enough staff to clear tables/restock items.

Overpriced food, gourmet burger had a single lettuce leaf. Loud music starts at 7am sharp if you're staying anywhere near the gym so don't expect to get any sleep. Staff uninterested.

The rooms are a bit dark and gloomy, but with comfortable beds. Expect an early morning if your room is close to the gym. The gym is great though, and the main reason I come here. Breakfast could have been better, would have loved some cheese. Nice fish & chips!

Been coming for years as we love it here. Great clean facilities. Vibe in bar is great when a singer is on however food in bar is abit pricey so we just eat elsewhere beforehand. Highly recommend.

Room was adequate but lacking any basic extras one would expect at this price point. After upgrading to a king size club room there was still only one chair, no biscuits with the tea and coffee, no safe, no glass, and there was also only 3 usable power points (2 more at the door on the floor). The room was clean and well presented and overall the staff were very helpful. Faceless, cold, corporate and efficient.
