Ben is exceptionally talented both as a performer and tutor - having learned jazz piano with Ben more than a decade ago(!) I reached out to see if he happened to do wedding gigs at all. Fortunately, the answer was yes!Ben’s original duet partner was unable to attend due to personal circumstances at the time but Ben quickly found someone to step in and checked in with me as early as he could which I really appreciated. Ben and Laurence (double bass) performed beautifully for our wedding reception in the lakes at the end of 2022 and they were both fantastic on the night and super professional (all the good stuff - early, ready to play right on schedule, knew exactly where to be / when!) as well as really easy going, which I definitely appreciated on the day as a busy bride! The balance and set list was perfect for the size of the space and the atmosphere.There was great chemistry between Ben and Laurence which showed in their playing but they were also really fun to watch - it’s always so great to see musicians enjoying what they’re playing! Ben was also really lovely with my young niece and nephew who were fascinated by the keyboard.Thanks again, Ben and Laurence - hope our paths cross again some time. Maybe we’ll have to book you guys for an anniversary or something, we’ll find an excuse! Jo

Ben is a great piano teacher and really inspirational. Very eperienced and capable of teaching various styles, from beginner to advanced. Both my son and I enjoy the lessons, grade 7 and 3 respectively.
