I have been with the same car garage for 20 years who recently retired and I trusted. My friend referred me onto Hopkins garage and I've recently had my first service which went well. I have to admit I waited for the vehicle and dropped it first thing as I had to deliver an interview and needed my car back by 1030.i was a little anxious as we were waiting on parts but the guy on reception was a man of word. Brilliant and gained my trust

I’ve been using this garage for years! Staff are extremely friendly and the service is just unmatched. Every MOT, Service, or any other work carried out on my cars has always been amazing. Would never go to another garage, can’t recommend Hopkins enough!

They always remind me when MOT is due. Work always carried out quickly and to a high standard. Very friendly and keep you informed regarding your vehicle. Always try and keep the price as low as they possibly can. Wouldn't trust any other garage with my car.

BECAREFUL EVERYONE:I booked my car for an MOT and major service at Hopkins Car Repairs 50A London St, Newport NP19 8DG. Before the service, my car was in perfect working condition, including the heater. However, post-service, the heater suddenly stopped working, blowing only cold air.Upon contacting them, they insisted on a £50 inspection fee and separate labor charges. Unwilling to incur additional costs, I decided to investigate the issue myself with the help of youtube step-by-step guide. I checked thermostat, heater hoses, coolant, leaks, fuses etc, and finally when I opened and removed glovebox compartment, to my surprise, I discovered that the connector with the heater and blend door actuators had been intentionally removed during the service by hopkins team.This deliberate act raises concerns about their integrity and customer care. Instead of rectifying their error, they seemed eager to charge me for an inspection. I urge others to thoroughly check their cars after service at Hopkins Car Repairs, as my experience suggests a deceptive tactic to extract more money.Sadly, this incident reflects poorly on the business, and I will never be returning to them. Operating with such malicious intent is not how businesses should be run, and I hope others can avoid falling victim to similar practices.

Wow, this family repair shop rescued me from over 2 weeks of stay, after the first repair shop refuse to fix my car after waiting 2 weeks, I got their contact on Google, after checking their reviews, I called and I was booked in, my car was fixed within 3 hours, I was shocked, I’m definitely gonna be using them from now henceforth…
