Town Head Estate - Lakeside Weddings

We got married at Townhead Estate on 12th June 2023.I had my heart set on getting married by a lake in the lake district. I spent nearly a year trying to figure out how make my vision a reality.As soon as i saw photos of the boat house and the jetty at Townhead online, I knew that i'd finally found the spot that i'd been hoping for.I initially approached Tanya to put a bit of a proposition to her. Our wedding was very small (16 guests) and we didn't need the use of the whole estate. Townhead usually hold large weddings and I wasn't sure they'd be interested in my I want to get married on the beach please" idea. But i was pleasantly surprised as they were very open to the idea and we created the vision of what our day and package would look like together.Tanya was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. She chatted things through with me and answered my MANY emails and questions. Nothing was ever too much.I was worried that because we hadn't booked the entire estate that we might have not got the same treatment as some of the other larger weddings

I am truly in awe of Town Head, Tanya, Beth and the team are next level. Service outstanding, the venue is perfect and accommodation to die for. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. Whatever you are celebrating there aren’t enough stars to give 100+ wouldn’t be enough and i recommend Town Head Estate highly. It will be an experience you will never forget

After postponing our big wedding twice because of COVID we decided to change all our original plans and have an intimate wedding in the Lake District and that is when we found Town Head Estate and wow what a find it was! The venue, the location and the staff were all amazing. Cheryl and the team could not do enough for you. We got married in the boathouse, had our wedding breakfast in the barn and finished the evening with a boat trip right from their very own jetty. It truly was absolutely perfect and we would recommend Town Head to anyone looking to get married in the Lake District.

Absolutely stunning venue. Set on Lake Windermere, in 130 acres of landscaped grounds, Town Head estate is the perfect blend of modern and old. With a stunning farmhouse to stay in, coupled with a beautiful barn for your celebration, a picture perfect boat house, and with a half mile of private lake frontage, it’s truly the best spot for a wedding in the Lake District. You can even get married on the lakeshore. Best wedding venue in the lake district by miles and I loved photographing Anna and Ben's romantic boho styled wedding there. Staff were amazing, food excellent and we even danced on the patio at sunset. Perfect.

Town Head is a piece of hidden luxury that oozes sophistication, beauty and captures the heart of the Lake District.The venue is simply stunning, the cleanliness is outstanding and the decor has the WOW factor; the pictures can show you this.But, as a bride, you need more than this and that is what Tanya Thompson does. Tanya supports, guides and helps in every way she can, constantly replying to emails, putting you at ease, making the day you have planned for many months come to life with elegance. I am in awe of what Tanya can do every single day with such passion and a constant smile on her face.Town Head will always have a special place in our hearts, it was just PERFECT!Thank you, Tanya.

Beautiful, lovely, clean, really nice.We are here for the wedding of our sonand it's delightful. Bbq on the shore of Windermere night b4 very enjoyable.Son and his girlie padel boarding.One little problem I couldn't lock any of the toilet doors for some reason and I do like to be alone.
