Orchidale Children's Nursery

My Son has spent the last two years at Orchidale. What a amazing time he has had. The staff are so good. They literally give the children the best time and care for themSo much. When they turn up to birthday parties on there own free time. Shows how much they love them. They have a forest school which they take the kids to every now and again. They take them out for little trips out on the mini bus. They are constantly improving the site. At the end of year before school they throw a graduation party for the children. our son spent 3 months at another nursery which was no where near as good as Orchidale. If you lucky enough to get your child in here. Your very lucky.

This nursery has been the best choice for our son, who has been to other nurseries and childminders in the past. The staff interact well with the children, support their interests and genuinely care for their wellbeing. The outdoor setting was the deciding factor for us and our son has developed in ways we never imagined; physically, academically and emotionally. He has an insatiable curiosity that benefits from being in this environment. I honestly wish we could delay primary and have him here another year.

My son attends Orchidale Nursery in the House Martins. I have nothing but praise for the nursery and the setting and the provision they provide. The staff go above and beyond to help my son and he has a lovely key worker called Hollie who along with the rest of the staff have put so much effort into supporting my son with his challenging eating. They have already made so much progress. He always feels like he is nurtured by the staff and I have never met a member of the team who isn’t giving everything to the children. They provide some amazing experiences for the children visiting forest school, chopping down a Christmas tree, pumpkin picking to name but a few. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone. My youngest will be attending Orchidale as soon as he’s ready despite it being 25minutes each way for us. The facilities, ethos and staff far out way anything that can be offered anywhere else in Norwich.

The Orchidale staff look after my son with such love, care and nurturing. They are a very diligent team who are knowledgable and always do the best by the children in their care. Nicole, my son’s key worker is exceptional and has made every day for him fun and special. They have a great bond which is very reassuring! The food is fantastic and freshly made every day! I could not be happier with the care my little boy receives.

Our daughter is currently in her first year at Orchidale and we are so pleased we chose this nursery. All the staff are welcoming and polite on drop off and pick up and the communications on Tapestry are up to date and clear.We would highly recommend Orchidale Children's Nursery :)

It is with great sadness I will be saying good bye to the awsome team at Orchidale. Both, my sons went to this nursery and would highly recommend it. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Evie, who was my sons key person is an incredible individual. Brought an even better side (if possible) out of my youngest. I thank you all. Good luck with the rest of your year's guys.

Amazing! My twins one with ASD have absolutely flourished at Forest school. They are always treated as individuals, they love the animals, woodwork club, cooking club, planting & all the amazing trips they do . The vital life skills they have learnt is amazing!The staff are always consistent and absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend.If your child has SEN needs and like me, you are a little bit anxious, I can assure you they will be well looked after. Nothing has been too much trouble &I have felt my daughters needs have been met above and beyond! The nursery manager is always so friendly & happy to talk through any concerns.

A truly amazing nursery experience.Before Orchidale my son went to a different nursery. From experiencing both these different settings, I have realised how much Orchidale prioritises personal growth, and how hard they work to give them an enriching learning experience.All the staff are exceptional and keep him thoroughly occupied. He is assigned his own key worker, Hollie, who is great at engaging with the kids and is very enthusiastic.I love how many things they have organised for them including visits from the police, firemen (or more importantly their vehicles!), Wild Touch (who bring in different animals and insects), trips to their forest school via mini bus, pumpkin picking, walks to visit Lidl and the garden centre next door and so on. Within the nursery setting itself they have woodworking, gardening, cooking, painting/crafting and they even conduct their own little science experiments.What I value the most is that I have never had the feeling that profit is more important than the children’s advancement. The children are more than happy, they are nurtured. I’ll be sad to see him leave such a wonderful setting when he goes to school but I know they have given him the best start towards it.Thank you to all of you for your hard work.

An amazing nursery. My little girl loves it and you can tell the staff genuinely care about the children. They always think of brilliant ideas to do with the children to help them learn but still have the most fun.

A fantastic nursery in every way. The staff are all brilliant and our daughter rarely has a backward glance when we drop her off as she loves them all. The facilities both indoor and outdoor are fantastic with so many things to do to encourage independence and creativity. The daily activities at nursery are varied and fun. The wide range of food is wholesome and fresh. Our daughter is happy confident and loves her days at nursery. From the first visit we were so happy to have such a gem so close to where we live. We would highly recommend Orchidale.
