Took my son here. He would have given it a 3/5 but he's not giving the review. I am. Loved it. If you like this sort of thing then it's amazing. Everyone is friendly and the whole thing is well presented and we'll preserved.

Great museum. Not many places in Northern England with this many aircraft and exhibits on show. My 11 year old son loved it.Good park for young kids, nice little cafe and bar too.Great selection of aircraft to look at both inside and outside.

Very interesting & well presented. Lovely café & reasonably priced. I brought a couple of souvenirs, enjoyed my easy wander around. A must for anyone interested in the aircraft & assistance vehicles used in both WW.

Second time here and it's a pleasure to see the history of flight! This time was extra special as the Hadley Victor was celebrating 20 years at the museum, to commemorate the anniversary the started up the engines and opened up its pipes!!!

Amazing experience, tones of history to learn. Beautiful attraction and well maintained machines.Members of staff are super friendly and we had an amazing guide who enlightened us with incredible facts and historical events we had no idea about.Place where you will think twice about the past, how much we own to the soldiers who fought for our freedom, and how lucky we are not to experience the hell of the war.

I loved this, I have an interest in military aircraft having served in the RAF. All the buildings are original and most of them are open. I did think that the hangers were a bit cluttered and it was difficult to see (and photograph) some of the aircraft. The museum staff were very friendly and helpful. There is an excellent restaurant with a good selection of food at a reasonable price. Large car park, so no problem queuing

It is a lovely place to visit with all ages, very informative and excellent value for money. So empowering i even became emotional reading some of the personal stories they have shared. The staff wandering around were very helpful and knowledgeable about all the exhibitions and are happy to answer all the questions you have. Food in the Naafi was ok, staff did a fantastic job with how busy it was, however maybe slightly over priced especially for drinks (£2.60 for a bottle of Rubicon - 500ml, is expensive). However, the gift shop, although small, is definitely worth a visit and the fact you can get a (decent) rule, pencil and rubber for £3.20 is a bargin! Will definitely return maybe next time for one of their special events.

This is a great place to spend two or three hours. There is a wide variety of aircraft and related items to see up close and a few other bits and pieces to have a look at.Dogs are welcome throughout the site and it's another fun and interesting thing to do around York (that doesn't involve Vikings or Trains).

It is a great collection of aircraft, although some are getting a little weather worn. It has a lot of interesting exhibits and an excellent cafe. Surprisingly busy when we visited, which is a good sign.
