Nel’s Nails

Hi I went in to Nel,s nail s the other day to have my nails done 4 my birthday I had French style done they looked lovely nice and natural the staff friendly and calming atmosphere .

Friendly, talented technicians and fair pricing. I was really happy with my nails. My only criticism is that I booked an appointment and was 20 minutes late being seen, but from what they said, it was an exceptionally busy day. I would go back again.

I only rated 2 because the staff are nice however what I disliked the most is that they don’t disinfect their tools between customers. At my last appointment one of the staff cut the cuticles a bit too deep and I started bleeding no worries at all. Then they took the clipper and put it back without disinfecting. I changed the nail salon because of the sanitary aspect. I also have a fungal nail infection since I’ve went there. Don’t know if it’s coincidental however in 8 years since I’m doing my nails I’ve never had a fungal nail infection. Just wanted to add. I did not said that the fungal infection is due to the cutting of my cuticles, I said that the tools used were not disinfected prior to being used on my nails or after, I don’t mind a small cut I mind the sanitary aspect. Also got it checked not fungal is bacterial. And yes is due to the way the products been applied on my nails.

First time having my nails done here but my daughter comes here often. Very friendly and professional. Always busy recommend booking, easy to do online but equally you can just turn up. Love my ombre. They do great nail art too.

Over priced. ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY! Every experience I have hade here has been bad. I was charged and extra 25 just for the design which was Marble (+£15) and (+£10) for two fingers with gems on totalling at (£55). My last style from a different store was £38 with a gem on every finger. Very rough when filling as they rush so much. My finger are sore!! Bad customer service even though it’s strange as when I am there I see that they do give good customer service to some. But when I am there they are very cold towards me and blunt. I would ask a question and the young lady doing my nails laughed patronisingly and then had a conversation with her colleague in their language for a while before responding. Every time I come here I feel very uncomfortable and leave feeling very dull and unimpressed. Because people put up with the price they feel they can go overboard and take advantage any chance they get!

Had my nails and toes done here few days ago and I will not be returning, the toes were fine and priced at 35 pounds which i think is reasonable but they charged me 60 pounds for my nails, it says on their price list biab is 35 so how does it suddenly become 60? Charged me 20 pounds EXTRA for nail art? It was simple nail art and it is a scam to try charge an extra 20 pounds for some different coloured lines, i would understand if it was detailed hand painted art but it was not. I only paid because I had a wedding to attend to or else I would have walked out. The nails were done to a good standard but not worth 60 pounds and the man who did my nails was very rude and rough with my hands, he hurt me multiple times. Not good!

I took my daughter here to get her nails done for our holiday. She had a new set. The nails were all different lengths, there was acrylic lumps under the nails and the diamonds and heart fell off within an hour. They charged me £47.00. I would expect a professional job for that money. The website states they are highly qualified specialists. Very disappointing as my daughters nails are now a mess for our holiday tomorrow. I will be in on my return with photos and a refund. Do not go here terrible service

Absolutely love this cute little nail shop. Always so lovely and my nails always look gorgeous. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
