Gallery was lovely! Many different exhibitions. The one with the Nuclear fallout shelter was cool! We went to the art gallery cafe on the basement level....Nice coffee....but they don't bring it to your table....they call out your coffee order ....and you have to go get it yourself from the counter next to the barista.Cheers John

Having a free afternoon to myself, alone in Nottingham, i thought i might visit one of Nottingham's best galleries. Parking is always an inner city problem, but I finally arrived and was so looking forward to being inspired and awed by the installations and art I expected to see, but sadly, that was NOT the case. I don't know if I'm just a complete art imbecile, or don't understand it, but I've been to some of the best galleries all over the world, including the Uffizi, The Louvre, The Guggenheim and many others - but honestly, NONE of what was inside this gallery could really be classified as art" in my mind! It was a mishmash of weird audiovisual displays

Spacious, organized space and helpful staff. Nice gift shop with lots to choose from, good for presents. Friendly cafe with clean, well presented toilets. Gallery was tidy and had a good atmosphere. Thought provoking and professional exhibitions. Noticed the roof outside the entrance has a lace pattern, fitting in with the history of the area. There is a Tate modern feel to the building inside and out. Free to get in, but felt I should leave a donation which is easy to do. I look forward to more visits!

Attended here for the first time with my kids, the exhibition wasn’t to my taste however would attend again as it’s not a permanent show, cafe , toilets inside as well as a gift shop

An excellent gallery that always puts in interesting exhibitions. The gift shop is very generic - nothing really Nottingham about it. But helpful staff, good things to see and an excellent cafe make up for it. Good community space too.

I didn’t quite understand the first and second exhibition but the third and fourth ones are quite interesting. They were projects that children and artists worked together. I would like to think that they are artistic versions of playgrounds for adults and children to play together. There are also drawings on the wall with quotes from the children. Very fitting for families and children to visit and play.

I remember coming here often as a child growing up, which initially got me into art in the first place. First time visiting again after a long time, and I love how it's stayed the same!Would love to see more exhibitions in the future, and come visit again :)Also, not sure if The Space on the lower ground floor is still being used as part of exhibitions or not? But I remember that room being the best part of my childhood!

Very good gallery overall, the interior was immaculate and the atmosphere was friendly and very comfortable. It's a nice public escape from the noise of the city. Can't wait to see if they have more exciting artists to present.
