Plain dark suit, budget £300, possibly inch or two alternation. Not too unreasonable right?A 15min lecture on why my quest was doomed to fail to the point I was actively trying to break conversion and escape. Negative to the point of awkward…and then kept going.Someone give her a puppy and remind her the sun will shine again. But I shaln’t be buying a suit here.

My favorite shop. I am a awkward fit. Field Menswear (was Field Brothers) has the best selection. I may be ever so slightly biased . My dad's first job was a Menswear Sales Assistant (I did not know before) I started at Field Brothers at age 17. I am now 62 and still a customer. Always useful while you are here:- Check out The Classic Cap Company a few shops south. Both shops complement each other nicely.

I have used Fields on a number of times, and the service has always been second to none.Would always us them first. Highly recommended..

Possibly racist, rude, unhelpful, judgemental, condescending, elderly salesman/advanced aged/grey hair. Upon entering, we were immediately directed towards the cheaper side of the store, and kept hindering and stopping us from even checking out, nor to try out the suit that we were interested in. Seemingly implying we can't afford it. Upon trying something on, this salesman shouted to stop us from across the store. We were told that it was a waste of time"

Old guy overcharged me and I realised after, he was cocky and rude about it when I went back to get my money back

I had to ring this shop today as Evri delivered a parcel that my daughter had ordered to our address in Birkenhead Merseyside but they delivered it to this address which is absolutely ridiculous, I spoke to an elderly gentleman who at first seemed a bit abrupt but I think he didn't really understand what I was talking about to begin with but after a short while we actually got to the fact that my daughters parcel is in fact in the shop and we laughed about it as he could tell by my accent where I was from... He was quite helpful in the end so thank you for that, I am hoping to get the parcel sent back to us as my daughter ordered the clothes for her Xmas works night out at the weekend.

Went in to get shirts for a wedding, was quick and easy, good service from all the gents, Paul handled us and it's nice to have a bit of chat whilst each persons waiting for the next.
