Breakers Surf School

I went to hire a wetsuit and a body board. The owner was about to take some people down to the beach for some instruction on surfing and had I more time here I'd have loved to have taken part in some lessons. He only had to glance and me to know what size wetsuit I needed and when I got onto the beach I had a lot a fun.I watched him teach surfing and he ran them through safety and warm ups before doing some tutoring on the sand, they headed out to sea afterwards. In no time at all he had some of them standing and catching some of the waves giving them lots of encouragement and support, individually as well as a group.He was very polite and positive so I wish his surf school well!

Down in Cornwall for work for 2 weeks , so thought ... what can I do ?Lets try Surfing.....Booked on line , nice and easy and got reminders and directions via e-mail.Arrived and met Tom - Greeted warmly , then met Tristan , my instructor - no one else in the morning session - so one to one instruction - Awesome.So, never been on any board device ever - after a safety and intro to the board , waves and cove - in we went..Tristan was a great instructor and top bloke - got me from never being on a board to actually standing ( albeit 2-3 seconds before being dumped into the water 1) in 2 hour.It was a great experience and work is sending me to New Zealand , so I'm going to use the basics that Tristan has taught me and I'm going to continue !Cant recommend this School strongly enough, friendly , professional , patient and just all round cool.

Booked a first time surf lesson for 4 children and 3 adults. All equipment provided. Tia and Tom were great at instructing us and were quick to get us in the water to practice. The two hours flew by and we didn't even notice the rain. A great experience, very good value for money and lots of fun had by all. Would thoroughly recommend to all. Thank you.

Brilliant instruction, great fun and really friendly, helpful crew at Breakers Surf School. My guys are totally hooked and want surf boards for Christmas! Not being surfers ourselves it's great to know the kids are being taught safely and having fun, and I'm amazed at the progress they've made. The Kids club is great value for money. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing SUP guided tour of the coastline with Tom, exploring hidden caves and grottoes. It really has been the highlight of our trip so far here in Cornwall. Even did a spot of rock jumping -- much higher than it looks! Definitely recommended.

My husband Tom and I had a 2 hour lesson today at St Agnes. It was absolutely fantastic! We were complete beginner's and had never tried surfing before. The instructor Andy took us through all of the basics and helped us along the way to (pretty much...) standing! Highly recommend!

Amazing instructors!!! very passionate about teaching and surfing so you can get better. Lots of helpful advice and great at passing on their surfing knowledge. they’ve got go pros on the board so you can even have a video of the day and remember how much fun you had at St Agnes beach in the surf. Thanks guys

Gentleman that taught us for our two hour lesson last week was amazing, personally was nervous while my partner was excited and he made me feel at ease and made it extremely enjoyable for the both of us. Definitely made one our day's while on holiday.

Great school! Easy to book and to find friendly teachers. Daily reminders about the timing of the lessons. The location is great too. My son absolutely loved his surfing lessons and we hope to come back next year!Thank you very much!Ulyana

We loved our surf lessons! Tom the instructor was really knowledgable about surfing and local coastline, as well as being great fun. Got us both standing up confidently quicker than we expected! Would definitely come back and recommend!
