Watching Spotlight made me feel sick as it brought back all the feelings I had when I lay half naked and vulnerable on a bed while Ruth-Ellen tried to force me to sign a document for £3000 worth of “treatments” for infertility. When I said I would need to discuss this with my husband her words were “it’s your body”. Luckily I left that day and never went back, but not before she put in a bag the products she was going to “give” me, (illegal) progesterone cream and herbal tea which she then charged me £98 on top of the £180 consultation fee. I have been warning friends for years, avoid at all costs.

I wish I didn’t even have to give 1 star. I was a victim of this clinic in 2016 when I was very vulnerable. I was told to pay for service up front as they so busy and I needed weekly appointments. My appointments were messed about and I was never given weekly appointments. I was advised I could get a note from clinic to advise it for fertility so I could allowed out of work to attend as it medical. I was successful in getting a refund for remaining appoints after approaching the Sunday world but I was not refunded for appointments attended. I was threatened with legal action when I left a 1 star review on Facebook and attacked by her “husband” and the nurse doing IV’s on the Facebook post she even mentioned “my father in laws lung cancer treatment in her comments” to justify messing my appointments. I am so happy this has finally been exposed it just upsets me that So many people have been scammed in the years it took to be exposed. I think it was 2017 when I attended after seeing a news article in Belfast telegraph.

Logan Wellbeing was recommended to me by a friend in 2016 when I was about to begin a new cycle of IVF. I was feeling disheartened, physically and emotionally drained and desperate to start a family.Ruth Ellen, Felicity and the amazing team of therapists made me feel 100% comfortable and cared for at each appointment. I very quickly felt the benefits of talking therapy, cleansing teas, endo diet and the massage techniques. It was just what I needed; a new and knowledgeable approach! If you are feeling the weight of fertility challenge, the team are there to listen and advise you. I 100% recommend Logan Wellbeing and Medical!

The absolute lowest point on our fertility journey. I went to RE when she was still based in Montgomery street. Like everyone else she told me I had a tilted womb, endo and immune issues. She told me she worked closely with all the leading fertility doctors and that she had had specialist training in America. Like all the others she put tremendous pressure on me to pay up front for her fertility services, she took a £1000 off of me that day. (Like in Spain in the 90s when they hassled you to buy timeshare)I quickly realised I had made a huge mistake. I contacted RE and asked for a refund, she point blank refused and stated she doesn’t do refunds but that I could have credit to use in her beauty clinic. I was absolutely horrified. How could another woman who knows the emotional and financial strain of infertility be so callous. To make matters worse when I expressed this to her she accused me of just being angry because I couldn’t have children. This woman is vile.Thankfully we did go on and have our family but through an actual fertility clinic and absolutely not because of a belly rub.Spotlight have done a tremendous job in unmasking this scam. It’s time now for all the victims to be heard.

In 2015 in what was then the Beauty co in Montgomery St Belfast my wife was coerced by improper sales tactics and advertising into spending over £1400 on massages and supplements that REL convinced her would get her pregnant (92% effective etc coming from a supposed medical professional who works closely with NI's top fertility consultants) Thankfully my wife did not complete the course of tablets , tea and massages etc but that didn't stop REL in calling a year later after the birth of our child to try to claim credit and advertise in the newspaper. Avoid unless you are the PSNI who I encourage to look into REL and Logan Wellbeing in fine detail.

If you phone this place, desperate for help conceiving and Ruth, the qualified beauty therapist, tells you you have a tilted pelvis or an endocrine issue, without having carried out any type of examination or diagnostic test, take your money and run. There are plenty of legitimate fertility clinics to choose from.

In January 2015 I phoned Ruth Ellen’s business after I had a miscarriage. She was abrupt on the phone, no empathy to my situation and said she was busy until March. I went on to find another lady who was trained in Maya massage and she warned me then that Ruth Ellen was self trained and practicing outside her means. I know for a fact she threatened staff as I met a former employee who had been threatened by her. I’m shocked that she has got away with advertising and selling unlicensed products. I feel for every single woman who unknowingly paid this woman for her lies and I truly hope they can get their money back and find the appropriate medical help they need.

I attended here 2017 to early 2018 for maya massage and IV drops to boost fertility. I shelled out alot of my ivf savings on this ‘naturopathic’ approach. In hindsight, I realise it was a money making scam - no evidence for the treatments. I asked was there a doctor who oversaw the prescribing of the IV treatments which included prescription only medicines. I was told a doctor called Michael signed the rxs. You can imagine my horror when I watched spotlight programme and realised that ‘Michael’ had no expertise in fertility and was not aware the purpose these infusions were being used for. He withdrew his association from the clinic some time ago after this was brought to his attention. In addition, the owner of the clinic, signed off blood request forms as ‘Dr’ even though she has NO medical qualifications - this is paramount to fraud and should be investigated further

Avoid. Ruth Ellen has no medical training but advised I get blood tests, which she then interpreted and prescribed weekly iv drips containing Dexamethasone which is not licensed for fertility use. Ruth Ellen lied that she had developed this fertility program alongside a doctor who categorically denied any involvement in treatment to the GMC.
