The lady who did the initial tests was great, friendly and professional, the ladies who dealt with the process of choosing glasses and placing an order were friendly too.The optician however, came across as incredibly arrogant and unprofessional. He 'told off' a colleague in front of us, which was totally unnecessary.He also didn't measure and check my young daughters glasses that she had chosen, to see if they were a correct fit for her (they took time doing this at Boots Opticians for previous glasses). He just got her to look left and look right and said 'yeah that's fine'.I personally have never had to wear prescription glasses before and I felt pressured into choosing frames (that I was not 100% happy with) there and then, when in actual fact it turns out I can take my prescription elsewhere. The range of glasses wasn't that great.It also wasn't explained to me if I needed to wear the glasses all the time or not. Even when I asked the question, I didn't get a firm answer. . . I was told you can do." Which leaves me not knowing the answer. Again

Staff at this store are fantastic, they always make you feel welcome, will help you out by giving you various options and deserve recognition. Be a customer for around 3 years now! Great store

Very friendly and professional service. I was seen at the appointed time for my test and afterwards received excellent advice for my new glasses with no pushy selling. A hundred times better than the experience I had when visiting their main competitor last time. I'm looking forward to collecting my glasses and will probably chose a second pair while I'm there.

The initial tests and the actual eye test were fine professional and time taken.But when I was measured it was done in about 2 minutes really rushed and left me with no confidence in the workWhen my glasses arrived I was given them and left to try them myself,I couldn't see to read or see long distanceI then had to wait 3 weeks for another test, I had paid ( not cheap) and the glasses were no good, as it turned out I was measured incorrectly, now waiting for replacementsWont be using again!!

Excellent service from start to finish. Great welcome, everything cleaned in front of you so that you know it’s definitely been done. The optician put me at my ease and went through all of the results of the pre-tests as well as the sight test. I felt comfortable selecting frames and was given a box to put the used frames in for cleaning later. I was told to expect my glasses in 2weeks and they were ready in 1 week. Excellent.

Brilliant experience, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They gave me all the time I needed to ask questions and pick new frames resulting in a great choice. I would thoroughly recommend to friends and family.

Really friendly and helpful young lady at the reception, she did the puff test and 2 others also checked my glasses.The NHS eye test done by the ophthalmologist, who was very kind, patient and friendly, was very thorough.I was seen in time and will happily recommend this branch.

Damaged my glasses so needed help, found I needed a replacement pair, must say Kara was very patient with me in my choice of frames, at all times the customer care was very helpful and considerate
