Ripe Insurance

Didn't renew caravan insurance this year but have recived 15 calls from them I have called them twice to stop the calls but they still ring have now blocked there number and would never use them again

So my caravan insurance was due and my current company gave me a renewal quote some weeks ago. I telephoned them up closer to the renewal date and asked them to reduce it by taking off European cover. Sorry but we cannot do that. It's all inclusive as a package". I then asked them to confirm what the price was....the figure was £57 higher than the renewal email they sent me!Found Ripe via Google. The site is very good and I liked the fact that I could add extras or take them off if needed. European cover was excluded as I cannot see us being allowed to travel and it's too risky in Europe. I increased my liability to £3 million and added legal cover.Brilliant site with plenty of choices which as a shopper is very good rather than being told "Like it or Lump it" attitude. Have a go and see how much you can save. I saved close to £100! Brilliant well happy!"

Searched on a comparison website to check out situation before renewing current caravan insurance. They emailed me a couple of days later. I followed up a week later, completed the online forms, was impressed by the quality of information requested in order to provide a tailored quote. I proceeded and was immediately accepted, minutes later received a confirmation email and all the relevant documentation. Well done and thank you for your service so far.

Do not use this company, they are nice and helpful, until you need to claim and they use a different company for claims, saying awning not covered under storm damage, what a joke and making it near impossible to claim against the damage to my van, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

AVOID!Took 2 months to pay out for a camera, and then proceeded to take money from me even after cancelling my renewal! DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT A TRUSTWORTHY INSURER!

Caravan insurance renewal came up from Ripe,big increase went into get quote as a new customer on the their own website which was much lower than the renewal they sent, i called them and told them and they agreed this cheaper price so why didn't they offer it in the first place, but I noticed an error in the documentation (their error) they put the incorrect caravan value and that value was on tje online quote as i has informed them and be told me I had to pay£15 difference and only after much argument did they agreed that I didn't need to pay it.who trusts insurance companies here is why!!!,

Avoid these jokers. They bring insurance fraud to a whole new level! Here is their strap line ‘ripe a fresh approach to insurance’ and it certainly is a fresh approach. You take out insurance with them, then a few days later you will receive another email from them requesting proof of no claims. You supply it , they tell you, you cannot use it as it’s on another vehicle! and rack your price up. So whilst they appear cheap they certainly aren’t as they have a fraudulent sting in the tail. Avoid this company go direct to Adrian Flux ! Far superior with great customer service unlike these jokers !!

Setting up the policy was easy over the phone. We had to claim after about a month after damage to our touring caravan. The handler was sympathetic and arranged collection of the damaged van. After 2 months settled the claim and money went into our account the same day. Pleasantly happy after reading some of the other reviews. Well done Ripe underwritten by Aviva.
