Mark Rumsey Painting & Decorating and Kitchen spraying

Mark has currently done a couple of pieces of work for us now and has done a tremendous job. My wife swore never to use a contractor again after a previous bad experience - and she sets the bar really high when it comes to quality. I can safely say her expectations were more than matched with what Mark delivered.We found Mark timely and extremely courteous - and very professional in his work. We will certainly look to use Mark's services again and I would highly recommend him to you.

I used this company about a year ago to paint a ceiling which we are pleased with so decided we wanted to use them again. It was difficult to get hold of the owner then to do the work, but this time round has been a ridiculous timeframe and found him to be very unresponsive at times. Ten weeks ago I contacted him to provide a quote. He came to look at the job and promised to email me it in a few days, but it never arrived. I had to chase the quote a number of times and finally received it 5 weeks after. After receiving the quote, I wanted to know the available dates he could do the work and also had a small query... and again tried to get the information but radio silence, and I was ignored. I gave up trying after 10 weeks. Thanks for wasting my time.

Mark decorated every room in our new home. He was professional but friendly too. He had such a good attention to detail, adding extra coats of paint to provide a perfect finish. And also rehanging wallpaper when he wasn't happy with the finish (even though we would not have noticed any imperfection!) Meticulous and exceptional wallpaper hanging, I've never seen such good pattern matching. Mark takes pride in his work.

Really pleased with our “new” kitchen transformation, Mark did a fantastic job from start to finish, explains the process and plan along the way to help us understand and visualise.Mark came in for a week or more whilst we were away on holiday and there was no issues there, everything left as it was, clean and tidy.We already have thoughts of some further work we need doing and certainly no hesitation in recommending Mark to anyone that maybe thinking of doing this in their homes.

I would highly recommend Mark. We had bespoke wardrobes and bedroom units spray painted to a very high quality, which we are very happy with. He was very professional and trustworthy, and was constantly in contact during the time leading up to the work!
