Hotel Chocolat

I visited 2/10/21 for first time this year for birthday gift and I'm always given good advice and love the variety of products not just boxes of chocolates. I'm also impressed with seasonal chocolates for my friends and for their kids well worth visit. But be advised doors to quays open at 9.00 but shops not until 10.00am .

Using a birthday gift for my husband. Not as easy as we thought. Bought chocolate misshapes. The flavours were awful

Used to like it but now it's weary dreary and pricy. The outlet shop in Gloucester has few real bargains. Very disappointing

Loads of chocolate to choose from and very friendly staff.

The young lady that was training a new team member should not be in that roll she even had me on tender hooks with the rolling of eyes showing her frustration . I was ignored and I was the only one queuing the young lad that was training saw me and I could tell he wanted to knowledge me but she just carried on like I was invisible. The trainee put through my order and then asked what size I order even though I paid ,at that point I couldn’t even remember I was so on edge . I have worked in the cafe / retail environment for over 30 years and I was shocked on how staff are trained I felt so sorry for the guy hope he stays if it was me I’d walk no at that point Ran . Clearly the trainer needs training them self ,they demonstrated no understanding , patients and only showed their frustration . Will not return back to costa

Racist and rude staff. The women/server serves the customer who was before me and than when my turn comes she completely ignored me. She called another staff and another staff started serving other customers who was queuing after me but they didn't even bother taking my order or informing me if I can be served by another lady. I was waiting there for 15 min. My 2 year old child started crying and still the staff don't bother. Frustrated when I asked if I m going to be served or not than the racist staff tells me to very rudely to que up on the other till. She behaved with me like I was asking for free food. I can clearly see that I was treated like this because I m muslim/wearing hijab. Worse service and rude racist staff. Never coming back .

We've visited this Hotel Chocolat a few times and the staff have always been lovely! The products are a nice treat, too - every now and again, as it is a bit out of my price range. I've had a billionaire's sundae and a hot chocolate from this cafe before - both were really nice and high quality. There's enough room to move around inside the shop itself and a little dining area that I've never sat in, but is a handy addition. Overall, I strongly recommend it! I have never been disappointed by Hotel Chocolat.

Firstly for this overpriced products at least the staff should be more friendly. Big disappointment this place.

Absolutely love the ice cream. Staff go the extra mile (special mention to Rae) going above and beyond with brilliant service. Fabulous array of chocolates...we especially like the dark chocolate!!!Thanks to all
