Outstanding MOT and Car Service Centre: I have been using TMC for several years now, the service is always friendly, reliable and most of all economical. Tom and Paul keep customers regularly informed and there are never any nasty surprises. The work is of a high standard and the prices are very reasonable. This garage offers the personal, trustworthy and professional service that has all but disappeared at main dealers and franchises. Highly recommended.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of getting a complete service done at this garage, and I must say, it left a lot to be desired. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist's demeanor was off-putting. Her treatment was impolite, and she lacked the professionalism one would expect in a service-oriented establishment.As I wanted to ensure the quality of the parts being used for my car, I inquired about the specifics and their sourcing. To my surprise, the receptionist either played ignorant or pretended not to understand my concerns, leaving me with a sense of frustration and uncertainty, I provided an oil drain plug that was supposed to be included, it wasn't discounted from the final bill.The real frustration, however, came during the service itself. The garage claimed they were unable to locate a seemingly basic replacement part. Instead of taking the initiative to procure the part, they instructed me to order it myself. Strangely enough, I managed to find the part quite easily, only to realize that they had failed to follow through on their promise to schedule a new appointment for installation.In my persistence to get the job done, I returned to the garage. This time, the manager attended to me, and while there was a slight improvement in their demeanor.Paul was really respectful and looking forward to completing the service already paid. the overall service was rushed. The most glaring issue came when I noticed that there had been a careless mismanagement of fuel around the engine area. This resulted in nearly a gallon of fuel wastage, which was not only environmentally irresponsible but also showed a lack of attention to detail.Given the sum of these experiences, I'm unable to recommend this garage on this occasion for a full service. It's disheartening to encounter such a disregard for customer service and basic professional conduct. When seeking automotive services, it's crucial to find a garage that values its customers, performs services diligently, and maintains a higher standard of workmanship.

Went to this garage for the first time for my MOT. Unfortunately it failed but everything was fixed by the end of the day. I was let know what needed doing and the total cost (with VAT and service charge included) around lunchtime. They kept me well informed and the receptionist was very helpful. Would recommend

They have replaced my timing belt and brakes, I dropped it off in the morning and it was ready for 3.30 pm same day. Fantastic service, good communication, and not expensive at all.I will get my car repaired here in the future only.Won't ever be going back to my previous garage!

Won’t ever use this garage again. Booked in for mot and service but after my car failed it’s mot instead of ringing to tell me they continued to do the service knowing my car was going to cost £700. Been using this garage for a few years but will never go here again after that dirty trick

Used TMC for MOT and servicing for a good few years now and always have great service, communication and personal attention.An update, just had an invite to book for this year’s MOT but almost unfortunately I have moved 70 miles away and will not be able to use this excellent garage again. Let’s hope I can find somewhere even nearly as good, good luck to you and all your staff, thanks for the service and help.

Update - June 2023 - used again for service and MOT and im glad I did, friendly and professional! I finally found a garage that is trustworthy and not out there to rip people off as there are many that do it! So thank you again and will see you next year!Booked in for a full service and MOT. First time using this garage and I am glad I did. When I dropped my car thry was friendly and professional. On collecting my car, a different guy was not only friendly and professional, he was was giving me advice about Advisories and what to do in the future. Cannot thank this guy enough. Its hard enough to find a garage that is not out there to rip you off, but I have found a garage that is all of the above that I have mentioned. So, I will be back and telling family and friends about this garage.Once again, many thanks.

Highly recommend this garage for all your car repair needs. Have been using TMC for over 10 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Friendly, very knowledgeable and good value. A family run business with years of experience. They offer a range of services and communication is excellent when your car is being fixed. Chloe is lovely and welcoming and always tries to get my car booked in when it’s convenient for me. A wonderful family run business.
