Hanborough Pharmacy

Dangerously incompetent. Went to pick up medication, took an absolute age to get served, checked with the dispensing clerk to ensure the meds supplied were as specifically requested and was assured that they were correct and in accordance with my needs. When I got home and read the small print I was astonished to discover that the meds were not as the clerk had described. I’ll now need to return for the umpteenth time to inform them again of their error and no doubt have to wait yet another week for the correct medication to be ordered in. This is not the first time this has happened and they previously added a note to my records to make sure this doesn’t keep happening, but that clearly didn’t work either. Anyone responsible for dispensing medication who can’t understand that what they say they’re giving to a patient isn’t what they’re actually dispensing shouldn’t be employed to do this job; under some circumstances such practice could have very serious consequences for the patient. This is not acceptable and they should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Absolute joke. Can't get an answer on the phone, just rings and rings then says goodbye and cuts you off. Takes an age to get your medication from them. I got a better service from Lloyds in Eynsham.

Of all the pharmacies I have used this must be the worse. They seem totally disorganised and it is usual to have to wait well over 15 minutes to be served. They rarely check stock after approval of repeat presciptions is received so at the time of collection several days later the customer is told to come back next day. They always appear to have to seatch for everything in about 6 places and then often cannot find it. I have now switched to an online service. So dissappointing when they have such modern premises. Procedures require a complete overhaul.

Lived in Long Hanborough all my life and whether it was at the old pharmacy or the current new one the staff as always go above and beyond friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable.So don't abuse it, use it because in this day and age we are extremely lucky to have a local pharmacy / doctor's surgery.

Fantastic pharmacy, caring, talkative and helpful.They go to great lengths to sort things out for you, they have alot of new patients for the growth of long Hanborough and this could be the cause for some short delays but I always get my children's and my medications easily and quickly.Thank you

Nobody ever picks up the phone!! So don’t bother trying to ring!

They never have anyone on tge phone line, it keeps you waiting then it says goodbye and hangs up on you - terrible service

Ripped me off! They gave me the wrong thing - when I went to take it back 5 mins later they said I should have checked the bag before I left. That was my last £10 that I had for my medication. I'm now without. I could have bought what they gave me at boots cheaper. Complete rip off.
