The last thing to be done after the shock of a death the arranging of a funeral clearing out houses and tieing up loose ends is to sort out the gravestone I went to five different memorial makers and wouldn't use them because their attitude was that they couldn't care less or in the case of two of them they made up things I would have to pay them for that just wasn't true. When I found Buchanan memorials the first person I came across was Ellie who right off the. At told me everything I would need and within twenty minutes I was sitting with a computer generated picture of the headstone and text. Ellie was great to work with made everything easy didn't true and take advantage and the competence of this woman is second to none. Mr Buchanan went out to the cemetery once to see the stone and today to do the work and the job he did was amazing I got everything I wanted it's perfect in every way I can relax knowing my parents have a memorial befitting them he is a true craftsman who was very reasonably priced done the job within two weeks of putting the order in I can't thank Buchanan memorials enough I would recommend them to everybody these people are in the job for all the right reasons and I can't tell you how grateful Iam to them! Really delighted with the appearance of a headstone refurbished and cleaned by Buchanan. They restored a 60 year old stone to virtually new condition. Fantastic job!

So disappointed I specifically discussed how dads addition to current headstone was to look and they got it wrong, the wording is bunched up and reads as one big blurb, no spacing between previous wording and dad's, his photo is squeezed in between the wording right side but the wrong place even though there is plenty of space for where I asked for it to go. Family are so disappointed we need to live and look at their mistake everytime we visit now

I am very pleased with the recent service I received from Buchanan Memorials, the gravestone was specially ordered, so had to wait a few months for it to arrive, but after it arrived it only took about a week for the stone to be inscribed and erected at the cemetery. They were very efficient, friendly and helpful, and the communication was excellent. The price was also very competitive, and far better than anywhere else I could find in Edinburgh & Glasgow. They also provided a free computer generated image of what the stone would look like at the initial quote stage.

A true artisan and craftsman who is unsurpassed as a master mason .The quality of his work is simply outstanding.
