Always have a great experience here at Close Male Grooming. Friendly staff and alway pleased with my haircut. Ant is great and my only complaint is that he’s always booked up lol (good for him I suppose!)

I was late for my appointment so didn’t end up getting my hair cut, traffic problems but only myself to blame. My problem was with the poor attitude and customer service I got when walking in late, a little bit of customer service goes a long way.

When you pay for Cut, Wash & Finish you expect to get all these services.After my haircut was done, TJ was waiting for me to pay and I had to ask “Didn’t the selected package included wash and finish as well?”. Shocking answer “Ohh yeah, do you want your hair washed? (Of course I want, otherwise I wouldn’t pay for it in the first place) but we don’t have hot water, only cold water”. Without any other choice I accepted the cold water and stupefied again to see that the towel used was the rest of a ripped very used towel (brown colour).When it came to dry my hair, it was half dried then he asked me “is that good?”. I replied “can’t I have it fully dried please?”, his final answer being “gonna spend whole day on that (indicating the low power hair drier)”Wasn’t happy with the hair cut as well, it’s been trimmed much shorter than I suggested.If you want a different hair cut than what they do from day to day basis, maybe a more artistic one I would suggest to not choose this place.

Don't bother booking with Elliot.Had my haircut previously here by the other barbers with no complaints.Booked Elliot once before, he was late to the appointment and almost scalped me. Out of necessity, I decided to give him the benefit of doubt and tried again. I arrived on time waiting patiently (during my lunch break), after 15 minutes he still isn't done with his previous customer so I leave as there isn't enough time for me to get back to work now.Considering the price they charge you'd think the service would be top tier.

Great place to get your hair cut! Anthony and the guys are always friendly and a good laugh. Great price, great cut!

I’ve been getting my haircut with Anthony at Close Male Northern Quarter for at least 4 years now and it’s great. All of the barbers know what they are doing and there is always a super friendly atmosphere.

Hands down the best Barbers in Manchester.Always a great service from the lads with good banter and a laugh thrown in for free..

All the barbers are friendly, respectful and helpful at all. Would definitely recommend this shop to my friends!
