I drove for 15 miles to get there to be told that there is no longer drop in clinic. Even though the website still say’s that there is. Even though the lady behind the desk was apologetic it did not detract from my poor experience. Apparently you now have to call on the day which you want an appointment like the doctors surgery. From my experience that system is a fail, as you never actually get seen when you need.This is a real shame as previously I have always had good experience with the York clinic.

I used to prefer coming here for things like contraception and tests ect due to anxiety, now apparantly they don't do services for over 25's which I think is discriminating considering people over the age of 25 have more concerns over their reproductive system than those under 25 and we all need services like this not just under 25s. And also can never get an appointment at drs surgery, im 30 and still never had a smear test because nurses at my doctors always calling in sick and now monkgate only accommodates under 25s...

I've used their consultation contraceptive services several times, and every time they provide incredible help. The staff are so reassuring and efficient, I've recommended this clinic to many.

Although I have had to wait for up to two hours at the walk-in clinics, I've never been turned away. Staff are very friendly and I feel extremely comfortable whenever I visit. I don't live in North Yorkshire but always prefer to travel to York because my local service is shockingly bad.

Had a fairly invasive procedure which I was never really nervous about, but I just want to compliment the nurses on their professionalism, kindness and great bedside manner. Morgan was a student nurse and he was so lovely and positive, and Ruth was supervising him. I'll never go anywhere else after the amazing experiences I've had with YorSexual Health.

Called for an appointment, woman on the phone was rude. Took all my details and said I'd be called back the same day and someone would sort me an appointment. 2 days and still nothing.Why not just book me in on the first call? Hopeless and do not care about your health.

I don't really care about privacy but I rarely come in for a cryo but came in for one and they said they normally don't do them anymore because her words it's such a fuss because so many people come in all the time "( in my mind I'm like it's such a fuss for you to cryo patients with things that your supposed to treat and I thought this was a sex clini ).... I said but OK but I've come for 2 sessions cryo in 6 years and the creams don't really work .... I missed my last appointment because I didn't want to inconvenience anyone ....im autistic and that's how you guys made me feel about it"

The staff here are so lovely and friendly, you always get seen quickly for urgent problems, the clinic is clean and the staff are really thorough. I'd definitely recommend :)
