The Dog Dip

Brilliant set up, I was highly impressed and recommend the place fully. The fella running the business was superb, couldn't have been more helpful, and was very friendly. As well as having the baths, shampoos, towels and coat dryers there is a pet supplies shop too.

Rang today, a male answered the phone...after his daily welcome speech, I said hello and asked if they had a problem with emails on the website as I had sent an email with an enquiry 4 - 6 wks ago and had no reply. He answered with 'I don't check emails, never, never do'....mmm ok. So again politely and no attitude towards him I asked him why have an email address on the website if it's never checked...he replied with 'it's there for accounts to contact accounting'....ok bit odd if honest. Before I could even speak to him, he continued to speak now with an attitude and said 'have a nice day won't you'....as I got to have a nice...he actually put the phone down on me.that annoyed me as there was no reason to be so rude whatsoever towards me. The one thing that now concerns me is if he/they can have that attitude towards Humans, what the hell is the attitude towards Dogs so now at least I know NEVER to take my Dog to them nor will I recommend them either to others after that treatment on the phone.

Sadly, it was filthy when we went this morning with a nasty smell and tumbleweeds of dog hair in every corner. If you have any allergies, I would not recommend it. We were really hoping to find a good dog self-service wash but this was not it. Perhaps we came on a bad day.

This is an excellent concept. So easy to use and access, what a brilliant idea. The young man working in the shop is very helpful and showed us how to use the facilities. Very unfair previous review of 1*- our multiple visits to the shop have been nothing but pleasant:)

Good facilities. Towels provided along with shampoos. Good hairdryers. Good value. Parking outside the door.

Excellent self dog washing facilities, very friendly, helpful. I don't do Facebook so I just called in after walking my dog at saltram. Highly recommend, will definitely go regularly.

Fantastic place , we used the self service bathing for my 13 year old labrador there was plenty of shampoo, towels and lovely warm water provided and then the hairdryers too .Staff were friendly and helpful . The shop attached had lots of products and treats and again staff very helpful with information about products available . I would highly recommend the dog dip and will definitely be going back .

Clean affordable price and helpful advice from staff , also purchased some good quality dog food at a reasonable price, will be using again.
