Rent In Notts

This agent deserves one star. Even one star is one star too many. There were so many issues faced during our tenancy. It started off with almost not being able to collect the keys at a promised date as the keys were not ready. When we got to the property, we found that there was no dryer even though we clearly confirmed that there should be a dryer before signing the contract. Thank goodness we kept written evidence. The landlord was really nice and provided us with the dryer and a hoover but the agent’s attitude made us speechless. On a nice day, they were decent but on other days, they were arrogant and very uncooperative.Poor, delayed or no response to requests for maintenance. It was easier to just deal with the landlord which makes one question the purpose of the agent.Some other issues faced:-mouldy rooms in bedroom-leaky ceilings near the main entrance

I only have great things to say about this letting agency. I have had a wonderful experience with the staff and landlord they represent, they’ve been so kind and efficient. I signed with them for 2 consecutive years and they have been extremely helpful even after I left Nottingham when I needed references for another lease. They’re quick, professional and reliable and great for students new to Nottingham or the renting process in general. Strongly recommend!

Usually not the kind to complain about a company but the experience my house mates and I had during our year with Rent in Notts was unacceptable. Highly unprofessional and many of the problems within the house were never resolved before our tenancy ended. Also not once have we received an apology, even after we’d formally complained to RIN themselves.Would not recommend their services or the houses they have to offer. Sadly dampened our final year at university.It also seems as if the 5 star reviews are fake - written by family members or friends. Again, would not recommend.

So amazing! I found the perfect house from these people. Amazing customer service and easy hassle free work. They have a wide selection of houses and their prices are fair. Would definitely recommend rentinnotts. Don't let these people writing bad reviews make you get bad opinions.

Rented through these in 2020. Was moved into a flat infested with cockroaches, wallpaper peeling of ceilings and a filthy carpet. Was told all of it would be sorted and when we moved out a year and a half later it was just worse. Shower pipe burst, landlords 'fix' was to just duct tape a new one on after two weeks, which then immediately broke again. Trash abd rubbish was being dumped at our front door by the landlord clearing out the building next door too, to which nothing was done until months later. To top it off they tried to evict us with two weeks notice because the landlord wanted to move his family in, despite telling us we needed to give them two months notice if we wanted to leave?Completely slumlords, avoid at all costs.

I’m not one to leave negative reviews and would rather just say nothing but my housemates and I were extremely unhappy with the service we received whilst we were tenants with ‘Rent in Notts’. We found we were constantly having to chase them with issues with our house rather than them being proactive. RIN are extremely unprofessional and rude and after raising our complaints we never once received an apology. They never took us seriously meaning someone of our problems weren’t solved even at the end of our tenancy. The whole tenancy was a nightmare. In summary, they are not a good letting agent, especially for students. As others have said, the 5 star reviews are most likely fake.

Absolutely terrible agency. If there was an option for 0 stars, even that would be generous. Various problems during the year including multiple heating issues, maintenance problems (including a bedroom roof collapsing due to water leakage). Despite these problems, the agency turned the problem on us, offering no solution and instead behaving in a consistently rude and highly unprofessional manner. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY AT ANY COST.

Rented for my final year of uni. Had a very good experience with Rent In Notts. They were extremely helpful with a simple process moving in and out of the accommodation. In addition to this, any problems were resolved really quickly. I would highly recommend renting from here.

Overall I had decent experience with rent in notts , initially had issue with the cleanliness of the property ( I was handed over the property uncleaned) , however landlord was very kind and helpful , agents were also responsive throughout my stay .

I rented through the company throughout my Post grad degree. Initially had an issue with a chester drawer but the agent sorted a replacement in 3 days. I also had no issues with my deposits being returned as I have done in the past with other companies. Overall a great experience with this company, would highly recommend to others
