Hotel ibis Styles London Gatwick Airport

Room was ok very basic. Bar in hotel is small and was packed so good job we had eaten. The reception staff were pretty helpless. Couldn't give us good directions for the shuttle bus. We werent aware that we could have let the car be picked up the next morning until we arrived and checked in which would have been helpful to know.

Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Parking is £10 for 24 hours.Was given a room key by reception, went up to room - couldn't get key to work. Went back to reception, the receptionist reprogrammed the key and then accompanied me to make sure that it was working this time. Got into the room, only to find someone else's luggage already in there. So back down to reception for a new room / key.Eventually got into my room - no remote for the tv. Back down to reception again and they gave me a spare.Got a free drink for the hassle and went down to the restaurant for dinner which I thought was plentiful, pleasant and reasonably priced. Had a good night sleep in comfortable bed. Thought the shower was quite powerful and plenty warm enough. Room was quite small but clean and perfectly adequate for my needs. Had cooked breakfast which was included in my booking and was again, very pleasant but I would say the latte from the machine was just ok.Overall a good visit, if a little bit of a comedy of errors at first. Would use again.

Stayed here for around 6 months on and off so I have a pretty good idea about the place. It's clean, affordable and foods reasonably priced. Admittedly, there were lots of refurbishments going on at the beginning of the year which caused a lot of unwanted noise, but those have since been completed. Regular bus to the airport (chargeable) works well.The room keys are very sensitive, keep them away from your mobile phone otherwise you'll constantly find yourself a reception asking for a new key.Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

This hotel is conveniently located and they offer food here. You can also order from outside as well if you need to. The staff was very kind and accommodating. They have a shuttle service to the airport and it is much less expensive than paying for a taxi. The rooms are small, but very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

It was ok. Came as part of an airport parking package, which made it pretty cheap so can't complain. Room was fine, nothing special, but clean and did the job. There is a Toby carvery less than 15min walk up the road, which was also reasonable. Would use again if flying from Gatwick.

Quick and easy checkin. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and thankfully a power socket near the bed.No safe in rooms which lost it a star. Also aircon does not work and it got quite hot at night.Breakfast standard with good options. Something for everyone.

Really great staff. Special shout out to Claudia. Be sure to ask for her when doing group bookings. She made sure everyone was comfortable and that the staff knew what to expect from our stay. Be sure to email the hotel directly for such bookings.The breakfast is well stocked and the staff tries to accommodate you based on your requests. There is also the room service available.The airport shuttle service has a cost attached so be sure to inquire about this.

The hotel itself was great. The room was a bit to not for my liking which made it difficult to sleep, this combines with a disturbance in the next room requiring the police to be called, did not make for a relaxing night sleep. My only other comment would be about the sheets in the bed, which were not a great for so at to keep readjusting them. Despite this would definately go back as clean, staff were polite and really good instructions with booking about bus to and from airport and cost. Good was also nice.

Good size rooms with funky, modern designs (liked the bathroom pods!) Restaurant food good and staff very nice. Overall just what we needed for our one night stay before flying the next day where we simply caught the shuttle bus right outside to get to the south terminal. Would happily stay again.

The staff are friendly and personable as well as professional. The location is good. One just goes to the hotel shuttle bus area and take the B5 bus from stop 9. The cost for shuttle is 5 euro or 3 pounds. The hotel itself is standard Ibis. Breakfast is quite decent. The room is more than adequate with comfortable bed. Only concern is the shower head points at the shower door thus making it fairly likely water may flood the bathroom. Another positive is the short walk to 3 choices for food and a Boots pharmacy just across the street from 3 food markets.
