Excellent selection of Real Ales & Ciders.Board games available and a very warm welcome received. Wonderful addition to the area.Cask ales are changed on a regular basis and kept very well.Excellent knowledge of the products available.

Proper friendly local.Strong ties to Wye Valley Brewery which is no bad thing. Decent pints of Wye Valley HPA and Bitter, plus others. Occasional guest beers I think.Live music on Wednesdays.

A Spar supermarket brutally converted into a pub! Great, real, proper ales (and other drinks), nice landlord, customers turning up with music instruments and playing (really well).... Everything you will never get in a pub owned by a capitalist multinational corporation. Great atmosphere, friendly people on both sides of the bar. Shame I live 1500km away...Utterly authentic.
