Been meaning to write this for a while now, and finally got around to it. Previously we had been taking our Dog to PurpleBone in Notting Hill as it was right next to my office. Having left that role and now working from home we needed to find a new groomer. Being a Pomeranian our dog already has specific care needs but he also suffers from Alopecia due to an underactive thyroid, so we are very specific and it can be a challenge making him look neat and even. However Barkside was an absolute godsend. Our Dog has never looked tidier, he was groomed evenly, all the little details such as his ears and eyes were enhanced. His claws were neat and he came home very happy. We now know our Dog is in good hands and all in all was great value for money. Highly recommended.

Spencer is truly amazing with dogs, including the most nervous ones. He worked a miracle on my recently rescued, and extremely anxious, German Shepherd. Once in his care, she was unfazed by the bath and even the dryer. She is far happier and has more energy as a result of the grooming removing probably years of dead fur.

Spencer is just the best. Our dog is not the most straightforward but Spencer has been amazing throughout the nearly four years we have had him. Can’t recommend highly enough and not surprised waiting times for appointments can be quite long!
