As someone that is not a gym bunny, and never has been, I felt slightly nervous about joining a traditional gym and being judged. I decided to do a bit of research on other types of gyms / fitness studios that would allow me to get fitter. I was intrigued and spoke to Duncan, and he offered a free session and show me around the studio. Duncan kindly showed me each piece of equipment and explained what they did and how they worked each muscle. The studio is air conditioned so no need to get changed into any type of gym clothing, just wear your work gear or casual clothing. You can generally train in the studio on your own (with an instructor) so for me there is no need to worry about what other people were thinking.I am really enjoying the experience and, whilst I have only been attending for around 14 weeks, I have found the instructors helpful and encouraging. I like to focus on the iPad and follow the timer, with the instructor then giving some feedback with stats after each workout. In around 15 weeks my core strength has increased by about 34%.I feel better in myself and it’s really helping my golf game. As a keen golfer I have never seen myself as a long driver of the ball, but with each workout my ball striking is getting better and longer. Where I would generally get onto a par 5 in 3 shots, I am now able to get on in 2 and my overall scores are improving. The longest drive I had previously hit was 302 yards (slightly downhill and downwind) and recently I managed 345 yards and 320 uphill.I am really excited about my fitness journey with Duncan and fit20, if you have always been put off about being judged in a gym or struggle for time try a free session and you might even be pleasantly surprised.

Not being particularly keen on gyms, but aware of my own body as I progress through life, particularly losing my strength was a concern as being self employed I couldn't afford to take time off work through illness.My curiosity was pricked on how I could remain in my work clothes (jacket and trousers) work out for 20 mins a week and consistently improve my strength.Taking a leap of faith, I first attended fit20, late 2019 and have continued to be a member ever since.Not only has my strength increased, I've been able to maintain my busy work schedule aswell.One of the by products of this training that I've noticed is that I now stand more upright and my body feels more flexible.So, before you discard a 20 minute session a week of changing your life, check out the facts and why not even try a FREE trial session, it's certainly changed my life.Thank you fit20 Exeter

I've been training once a week with fit20 for over two years now and have certainly noticed an improvement in my strength, overall fitness and general wellbeing. Amongst other benefits, my weekly workouts have helped me overcome back issues and strengthened my dodgy knee.I've never stuck at any kind of fitness routine as long as I have with this one, because you really can't justify not doing 20 minutes a week and when you've booked in with a personal trainer you make the effort to show up! I persuaded my husband to give it a go a year ago and he's a convert too.I have found Duncan and his whole team to be incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and supportive and the studio is always spotlessly clean. Even during the months of lockdown, we carried on our training by Zoom from home and that definitely maintained our strength and fitness (and helped keep our spirits up!) for when we able to return to the studio.I would not hesitate to recommend fit20 in Exeter.

I started Fit20 7 months ago. It was my business partner's idea so we have a joint membership and train together. At first I doubted that just 20 minutes a week training was going to make much difference. I couldn't have been more wrong! It has made a huge difference. Anything that involves physical activity is so much easier now and I feel fitter than I have done for years. The trainers are brilliant and the sessions are fun. At the last session my trainer Tobias told me that my overall strength has increased by 47% in the 7 months I've been with Fit20. Result! Can't recommend it too highly.

I have been attending FIT20 for 6 months now and have noticed many improvements in my general well being and strength. I attended and at first was apprehensive as I had a hip issue, but after just a couple of sessions I noticed a big improvement and now the issue has almost gone, as well as the general aches and pains that occur when you are a certain age improving to the point of non existent. Not only am I impressed with the machines and the 1 to 1 training, because frankly, I would find a conventional gym so very intimidating where this is definitely not! The fact it’s also over in 20 minutes is a bonus and easy to fit into my week, the staff are so nice and very accommodating when life dramas happen and I need to change my training slot. If you are in two minds my advice would be go to the free intro session what do you have to lose?

I first went to Fit20 in March 2019 aged nearly 67 with an open but perhaps slightly skeptical mind. I have now reached the 'milestone' of 100 visits! I would have got there before if not for Covid and being unwell**.There is no doubt that the exercises 'work': I have seen my strength improve, which has helped golf shot length and tennis energy.I really like the intensity for a very short period and finish feeling 'that's done me some good!'** this was bowel cancer and I mention it because - after a few months recovery - it has not affected my abilities with the exercises and I am nearly back to the weights I was 'pushing' before. Don't let illness put you off!Looking forward to the next 100!!

I was wary of getting back into organized exercise after a bad experience at a well-known gym left me with a torn meniscus in my knee. But fit20 is different! The well-researched system really works, in no small part because of the one to one attention of the trainers. I’ve seen good results in my strength already and actually enjoy the sessions – they’re challenging but so well adapted to my individual needs that I always feel in safe hands. It’s great to know that in just 20 minutes a week I can keep improving my strength and overall health – Thanks Duncan and your wonderful team for this great service.

I started going to Fit20 in August 2022. I was sceptical that just 20 minutes would achieve results but was happy to be proved wrong! I have had a couple of set backs due to unrelated injuries (skiing!) but overall I’m definitely stronger and have even improved my bone density so for me it’s a definite winner. Duncan, Pete & Cam are all very encouraging and keep you going even when it’s tough - thank you team!

I highly recommend fit20 as an ideal service provider of health and fitness in Exeter. In the six months I have been attending the studio on Honiton Road, my overall strength has already improved by 20% and I am just beginning. This has already been life changing for me, as I have so much more energy and no longer feel the need to nap during the day.Sometimes I have attended when I’ve felt awful, and yet I have still been able to complete my 20 minutes. Even when some of the exercises are tough, it’s seconds before they are over! When I cracked a rib, I was in immense pain, every time I turned in bed. I meant to cancel my appointment but reluctantly still went. My trainer, Kamil, was really supportive, and cautious about each exercise, but he didn’t need to be. I was able to do all the exercises, even the back and stomach ones without discomfort.So, no matter how you are feeling, give fit20 a go. They have a free taster session.
