Hancock cafe
Called in for a hot drink and a scone late afternoon. Unfortunately the scone was hard, extremely dry and definitely not fresh. There were two members of staff working and just myself in the cafe. One member of staff spent most of the time I was there bad mouthing other colleagues and moaning about them to the other member of staff. No attempt at all to be discreet or lower her voice. Didn't really make for a pleasant experience!

Hancock cafe
We were advised that the café stops serving food at 14:00 hrs and stops serving drinks at 14:30 hours. So we managed to get in at 13:30 hours with our order for afternoon teas. They have a lovely range of cookies and cake to choose from. I went for a Victoria sponge and tea. The filling didn't taste like it had butter, so not sure if it might have been a vegan buttercream perhaps? It was all very tasty though.
