What an amazing place, great car parking, well stocked bar, great food, and friendly staff. We did not wait too long for our food, which was hot, well presented and yummy

Such a delightful pub and hotel. We had a lovely room on the ground floor with a huge bed and fab walk-in shower. Tea and coffee making facilities. Great staff serving both dinner and breakfast; really friendly. The owners couldn't be more helpful and kind to us. Totally recommend this hotel; the food was wonderful. 5 stars.

An excellent Pre-Christmas Lunch with my old MEB retired colleagues at the Red Lion today...... Great atmosphere, food and service...... I'm sure we'll be back. Thanks to the Proprietar and the staff.

We visited the Red Lion for a Sunday lunch and booked a table for 2.30. It was busy with diners, but we were seated quickly and our service was excellent. There were 3 roasts on the menu but the lamb was unavailable, so our choice was between beef or turkey. There was plenty of other food available on the menu but we specifically wanted a roast. Meals were well cooked, beef pink and tender, and roast parsnips were delicious. The other vegetables were fine and we finished off with a pudding!

Highly recommend this Hotel. I don't normally do reviews but wanted to let people know how fantastic this hotel is. The rooms are excellent and very reasonably priced. The service is 5 star all round and the food and drink is exceptional whether it's an evening meal in the restaurant/bar or the fabulous full english breakfast in the morning. Jez, Mark & the team make everyone welcome and we will all be back very soon. If you're looking for a hotel in this area then The Red Lion should be your #1 choice.

Really great pub for food. They serve a fairly wide selection and they do it all really well. Everyone around our table was very pleased with their meals. The friendly staff have owend it and worked there for ages so they work well together and offer a great service.

Red Lion Inn
Booked a room to stay over as we were going to a wedding reception just down the road. We had our room upgraded to the executive suite because they needed our double room. We were not disappointed, the room was amazing and very clean. We had breakfast at the pub too, it was perfect, friendly staff, offering extra toast, couldn't fault it in the slightest. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.
