One of the good ones!Run by enthusiasts always happy to help with an extensive range/variety of fish. A good oddball selection too which I like especially as they're not the usual tankbisters you see everywhere.Very highly recommended.

Sold me diseased and deformed fish. I made the mistake of ordering a fish tank from them i think the tank was supposed to be reduced but they over charged me had to wait weeks for my tank order to turn up. The deliver guy turned he didn't keep to the directions and wanted me to help him. I ordered a lighting system from them (luckily I didn't buy that) and they lied about it. I made the mistake and payed the price.

The fish look very well cared for but the service was very poor. The 2 assistants were eating their lunch at the counter, which I don't think is at all professional.

Really well kept fish and knowledgeable chap working there. No marine fish all tropical which was a nice change and explains the vast range of tropical fish they have. Well worth a visit.

Hi Sophie it’s Sophie, just wanted to say I’ve been coming here for over a year now and without the help and advice I’ve had from you, I don’t know how me and all my fish would of made it through. One of the best places to get fish, always have a different variety of fish to choose from and yourself and the rest of the team that work here are friendly and always helpful when it comes to any problems you may face during the fishing hobby. Overall I just wanted to say I am very thankful and will continue coming here, couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the fish I buy from you guys as all my fish are big, healthy and living wonderful life’s thanks to you guys!!!!

Great fish selection and healthy. Been coming here for years now and the service has been great untill a few weeks ago. Northern guy has a terrible attitude and very sarcastic. Asked him a few simple questions and got nothing but sarcasm and attitude back, very unhelpful. Probably won't be returning anytime soon. Very disappointing

Terrible staff. Went in for a look around, wanted to buy an air stone. Two staff working both totally ignored me as I stood at the till for over 5 minutes. One too busy chatting with someone who clearly wasn’t going to buy anything the other although serving didn’t even acknowledge me so he’d be with me in a bit. Just blanked me. Very rude staff. Gave up waiting so walked out ti take my business elsewhere

Thoroughly recommended on every level. Get a cup of tea because I am going to give a full account of my visit!I have been going into tropical fish retailers for well over 50 years in the South/South East of England and like all genuine enthusiasts I have a strong eye for detail.In all those years I have never experienced a Tropicals' retail environment that has 100% of tanks totally clean nor 100% of fish stock in excellent condition... until now. Really! I was completely and utterly impressed.The range of stock was very good. On that point, I am glad there were no Marine sales as I spent all those years wondering if the fish and corals I was looking at were legally sourced before the retailer was involved so add another point to my 5 star rating on that one. Plus take it up to seven stars for not stocking very large fish in unsuitably small tanks, in fact all stock was of an appropriate size for purchase. Push it up to EIGHT STARS for not stocking the likes of Piranha and other similar species that attract a less savoury/principled market (you know what I mean).I studied every tank and found not one sick/injured/dead fish and I am sorry to say that is extremely unusual.The quality of this establishment is without doubt due to the management and staff having both expertise and ethics that greatly benefits the fish and the true enthusiast keepers.My visit gave me cause to seriously consider getting a new display tank up and running.Staff member Joe should have a mention here too.
