Prestige have been great throughout - very pro-active.

Prestige by name but certainly not by nature!!! Honestly one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Full of excuses and prepared to let tenants live without a usable room and smell of damp for almost 2 months. I moved into the property and after a week we discovered that there was a water leak in my son's room. I reported it to Prestige who sent out someone who could not find the leak, we then had the management company come and look at it as they felt it may be down to them, still no leak found. Fast forward 7 weeks later and after lots of blaming from Prestige on the management company ie it is not our fault etc the leak turned out to be a hole in the downpipe discovered by the management company. During all this time my young son had to sleep on the floor in my room. Prestige promised to look at some form of compensation which never materialised. Now I don't normally complain but when you are paying £1100 per month for a 2 bedroom property surely you expect to get 2 usable bedrooms???? I also understand that things can take time to be rectified however, it is not my fault that Prestige sent out a plumber who is unable to find a simple leak in a pipe. Also on another note if you do decide to rent with Prestige please be extra vigilant when checking the Inventory. I was charged for something that was already there and stupidly I should have taken pictures of it. Prestiges response was of course it was you we don't believe you. They also charge excessive cleaning costs. I was charged far too much for not cleaning out one cupboard and a shower head apparently this takes an hour.......please be careful when considering this company I deeply regret my decision.
