Lyndsey Morton hair salon

I live 2 and a half hours away from Newcastle but I don't want to find a local hairdresser because I love and trust going to Lyndsey's salon.I used to be scared of dyeing my hair so always kept my natural mousey brown colour. However, I decided to take the plunge and Lyndsey has done an amazing job of turning me into a blonde but keeping the health of my hair as a priority. She also always takes her time to listen carefully to what style i'm after and the cuts turn out perfect and exactly what I want. I leave the salon feeling like a brand new woman :)

I’ve been coming to Lyndsey’s salon for a number of years and couldn’t fault anything! Always great customer service, friendly atmosphere, they listen to what you’re wanting and give advice of what will be best for your hair. I mainly go to Lyndsey but have also went to Chloe if Lyndsey couldn’t fit me in and again great service!

My daughter is a hard working student who saved up hard to to visit this salon. Her treatment was disgusting in every way , the owner is rude and refused to refund her despite the obvious and comical way her hair was bleached . STAY CLEAR YOUR WARNED . My daughter will post photos for you to view very soon. She works as a waitress isn a very nice restaurant and all the customers were shocked at the state of her hair. Be warned some of the pictures on her site are cut and paste from other salons.

I’ve been coming to Lyndsey for a couple years now after she was recommended by a friend of mine and to be honest this is the first salon I’ve been a diehard fan of ! The condition my hair is in now compared to other salons is amazing. I’ve also had my hair done by other stylists at the salon and they are also fab. Warm, friendly and I couldn’t recommend more !

Recently had my hair done here, I can honestly say it's the best Experience I have had at a salon. Lyndsey is a great stylist and such a lovely person. Had a latte and a great chat about what I was looking for, she gave great advice and I love the end results. Thanks lyndsey x

Lyndsey has been cutting my hair for over a year and was recommended to me by 4 other friends. She is professional, friendly and made me feel so well taken care of. Her pricing is EXTREMELY fair for the level of service she provides. Her salon is always clean and gorgeously presented. I have struggled for years trying to find a hairdresser who works for me and Lyndsey is that!

The service I have received from Chloe for the past few years has always been a high standard. She always makes sure my cut and colour is exactly what I have asked for and is very knowledgeable about products that would work well for my hair. When I first went to Chloe I had black box dye on my hair, she did a test strand on my hair and did an amazing job at trying to get it all out whilst also making clear that black box dye is very difficult to get out.

Lyndsey is so knowable and on top of current hair care products to use. My hair is unruly, curly and was in such bad condition when I first came to Lyndsey. Honestly she has transformed my hair. Can’t recommend her enough. Now even my partner comes to her too after seeing my hair!

Moved to Newcastle for uni and started going to Lyndsey for my hair not long after. That was about 7 years ago now and in all that time I've never gone anywhere else because I've never had a bad haircut. The salon looks good and everyone is welcoming and very helpful. If I've wanted an appointment at short notice Lyndsey has let me know when she's had a cancellation, asked if I can make it, and added me to the diary - her customer service is top notch. The hair cuts I've received have been professional and I'm sure if I wanted something more or different done then I'd be in very capable and expert hands with all of the staff. For a good gents cut, some good craic, and as many local venue/restaurant recommendations as you can manage, I can't rate this salon highly enough.

I have been going to Lyndsey for my hair doing for at least 7 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Felt it was time to leave a review as not only does my hair always look on point (and a full head of blonde isn’t an easy one to get right!) but it’s like going to visit a friend for a couple of hours. Over the years I’ve had so many friends ask where I get my hair done, and I’ve sent them Lyndsey’s way! Always made to feel so welcome by all the staff, drinks and magazines a plenty and it’s genuinely one of my favourite places to relax and have some me time in Newcastle!
