Went for Sunday lunch.. service was great, staff very friendly and attentive, without being in your face. Food was simply delicious and very quickly served..and a really good beer..Well recommended.

Booked up for a meal and Not disappointed at all with very good service from turning up to leaving. The food was excellent not cheap but you got what you payed for. Would definitely recommend.

Just had a fantastic meal there. My wife had a curry I had lasagne and my son had chicken and chips it was hot and lot's of it to.

Only spent the afternoon ( a few hours) in the garden but it was a lovely atmosphere. Loads off people eating & having a drink. Lovely place nice & clean. Will definitely go back / stay and I look forward to seeing what they will do to The Golden Lion in Hunstanton which is a brilliant place with lovely hard working staff that also go out off their way.

Possibly one of the nicest stays we've ever had! The rooms were absolutely spectacular and we were kindly offered a choice. Beautiful, serene and peaceful setting. Clive as our host we simply couldn't fault. Very amiable host who went above and beyond our expectations.As a vegan family we were catered for extremely well. Milks, yogurts, cheese, spreads were brought especially. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the whole breakfast experience. Our little girl had her first birthday whilst staying there and she also enjoyed the stay very much, especially the ducks!Would book again and recommend to anyone planning to visit Hunstanton. Only wish we were there for longer!

The lodge is great. Brilliant location, good service.It lost one star just because there was no aircon in the room. And if you are staying on the ground floor, you are not going to leave the window open during the night. For safety reasons. And for me, it was too hot to have a proper night sleep. I think all rooms should have the aircon.

Excellent food generous portions I had the chicken tika curry and with a choice of mild medium and hot I opted for medium which was just right with sufficient kick there were huge chicken pieces the rice was perfectly cooked and the nann was fantastic soft and pillowie the service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly

Stopped off in passing and had a meal on a rainy day in Hunstanton, the food and service was great. One thing to note is it is very dog friendly (like most places in Norfolk), so if you have any family members that aren't comfortable with dogs roaming around freely whilst you eat bear this in mind before booking/walking in.

Dropped in here for Sunday lunch because our regular place was fully booked.I cannot recommend this place enough, from the warm welcome, spacious table for two and superb food, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.The food was the crowning glory, when most places farm out frozen rubbish everything here was home done, from the roast potatoes, red cabbage, parsnip, etc. The gravy didn't disappoint either because it was home made and not the usual granules & hot water most places try and get away with. 10/10 from walking in to walking out thanks.

Dreadful service - food okay but attitude of most staff leaves a lot to be desired. Clearly they must get some things right but the proprietor (Brittney?) and her team need to ensure consistency and understand it is the customers who give them a business in the first place.Kitty in the restaurant is aloof and rude.Very rare I leave such a poor review but it really is well deserved!
