Barnehurst Golf Course

Great golf course, very well kept and really friendly staff. Really glad we are to play golf here.

we had originally booked at table for 3.30 but decided to change it on the app which went through ok. However, the change didn't get sent to the bar so when we turned up, they had no record of our earlier booking.After a few minutes the bar staff sorted us a table and we have a fantastic roast beef lunch.

Driving range opening times seem to vary depending on if the staff want to leave early, was told driving range was closed even though I was well within an hour of closing time.

If you have an event in the coming weeks at Barnehurst Golf Course I would advise contacting them ASAP.After several emails with no response my Uncle decided to attend the golf course and speak to the team.He was then informed that our event on November 19th had been cancelled due to a broken shutter on the room which means there is no access to the room and the new company taking over wouldn’t be fixing it.When he asked if they had planned to inform him of this he was met with silence.We truly believe they would have let us turn up on the day and my family wouldn’t have been able to host our baby shower.If they don’t respond via email or telephone I would advise going to speak to someone there as they have failed to respond or reach out to us.

Disappointing start to my 2 grandsons golfing experiences... Dreadful H and S as ball hit his ankle...bunkers filled with weeds etc... Long walks between Tee offs... Cannot pay with card so had to leave and get cash... Price on the morning more than what was quoted on the phone... Fairways not acceptable!!All pretty hazardous....

This is usually a very good range and not too expensive for TopTracer. However, they have recently removed the tees so you cannot use a driver or irons off the tee (due to people hitting balls over the fence). Disappointing as otherwise this is a very good range.

The parameters of the golf course which the public use, especially dog walkers has been totally neglected by the Council. Although reports have been made of the suspected burst underground water pipe/s the public path at one point is unusable and dangerous. The Council contact has not even bothered to reply to the complaint.Several months later:May 2023 ....The above problem has now been addressed and the path has dried out.

Really good cookies and staff at bar will give a cup to put a cold drink in while you are at the range. The golf course is not easy but not hard. The layout can get confusing but members playing help out with directions.

Terrible golf range. The range balls are way old and need replacing. Cannot hit off the tee since they have removed the tees recently and the bays are dirty.. not sure if anyone cleans the place. First and last time there

This place is peaceful, not a lot of people. The cheapest in this area
