Food was hot, fresh and tasty. We used table service and was easy and quick even on a very busy day.The restaurant was clean and tidy as were the toilets.Easy to park at and they have a very accessible drive thru too, much quicker than other local drive thru.My new favourite maccys x

Drive thru took a full 20 minutes from ordering a simple mcflurry to getting it. Ordered on 27 July 2023 at about 23:30. Very poor. Car filtering doesn't work either. People just jump queue from the side. Substandard.

I ordered from this store via JustEat. 1 hour after ordering my food, I hadn’t received any sort of update other than what was displayed on the JustEat app, which said “ Preparing your order, your courier is waiting at the restaurant “. I assumed that maybe the store was just really busy so I was happy to remain patient. Another hour passes and I still haven’t received my food or any update. I had to chase the store, and was met with a colleague who’s customer service was shocking. She told us that we won’t be receiving our food as they are having trouble with JustEat drivers. We were told to just call JustEat and they will sort it. We contacted JustEat but had to wait for a response as it was via their app. We ordered food from somewhere else as we were clearly not getting the food we had ordered from this store. An hour later, so 3 hours after I made the original order, the JustEat app updates and says that this store are again, preparing our food. Obviously I’d already eaten by now, but was happy to take the food that I had ordered.The food arrives, and it is all stone cold. The milkshake was warm, the chips were soggy etc. It was quite obvious to me that this was the food we ordered 3 hours ago, that had clearly been sat on the side to go cold. I called the store and asked to speak to a Manager. A lady comes on the phone. I explained politely that I’d spoken to them an hour prior to ask where my order was, and the food was eventually sent out to me. However I wasn’t happy atall with the food that I had received, I explained that I believed the food I’d been sent, was the food that I was meant to receive 3 hours ago.All I got in response to my explanation, was this Manager telling me I needed to contact JustEat again. This problem wasn’t with JustEat, it was with the food that the store themselves had provided me with. When I explained to this Manager a second time that I believed the food sent to me was from 3 hours ago as it was stone cold and inedible, she simply hangs up the phone on me.Absolutely disgusting service, no accountability or apology. I would be ashamed to have Managers like this representing your business in stores. I work in Customer Service as a Manager and I wouldn’t dare treat any of my customers the way I’ve been treated today.

Went in at 1 am after work, got food for takeaway and got home with everything still hot and well prepared! What else could you want from Maccy D? Got one happy costumer :)

Standard McDonald's, they're all pretty similar. It has a drive-thru and plenty of parking. I've only generally been in the evening where it's often quieter, but have had good service and good food ! They have a good amount of seating indoors (but I can imagine it gets busy during peak times), plus I generally prefer to takeaway. And toilet facilities are available for customers too.

Deleted my previous good review or this restaurant to replace it with this 1 star review. Previously shortly after opening this was a great McDonald’s. Probably the best in the area. I now assume the reason it was good in the past was experienced managers were helping to set up the restaurant.Went there today and all previously good experiences erased. Went to the drive-thru, ordered my meal. Get to payment window and my order can’t be found. He radios his colleague, then disappears. Comes back, says systems are updating and he cannot accept any payments and it will be 2 minutes.What a bizarre time to ‘update the systems’ with a full drive-thru queue. He came back and said to wait another minute. Cars behind were now reversing the exit the drive-thru. I didn’t wait another minute just to be told to wait longer and immediately headed to the Somerford McDonald’s less than 5 minutes away in a quiet night and had my food immediately. They don’t update their systems on a busy night like the Barrack road McDonald’s but it’s my suspicion no systems were updating…Will never return. Hard to gain a loyal customer but a lot easier to lose.

My visit to your McDonald's on Barrack Road in Christchurch today was nothing short of remarkable. The staff, particularly Debbie, with her vibrant pink hair, exuded warmth and efficiency. The restaurant was impeccably clean, a testament to Debbie's dedication to maintaining a spotless environment. Her customer service skills were exemplary, making me feel valued and appreciated. She is a true gem, an indispensable asset to your establishment.My overall experience at your McDonald's was exceptional, far exceeding my expectations. I will undoubtedly be returning soon, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience.Rating: A resounding 6 out of 5 stars.

Clean and bright atmosphere. Decent food and quick service. There were many children there expressing their delight as one would expect. We sat in the room with the kids for the party vibe. I didn't get a balloon nor a hat but that didn't spoil my meal.

We love this location, the food is generally fresh and know it has not been sitting for long periods. However, this is becoming an all too common experience at McDonalds everywhere, a small fries masquerading as a medium, just so disappointing! Seems happen with takeaway orders especially.
